We finally had everyone together: us, kids, grandkids, great grandkids for a couple days. Food, games, laughter and lots of love (and only a few bonked heads). Happy New Year, everyone!😍

We had appetizers for New Year’s Eve- no kids in house and us old folks went to bed early. New Year’s Day- traditional southern meal- black eye peas/collards/potato salad/baked ham/cornbread- took a plate to hubby in nursing home

My kids are supposed to be going back Monday the 6th. But we are expecting a pretty bad winter storm Sunday/monday. So I’m expecting we will not be going back till at least Wednesday because of ice/snow/and temps. Great grocery haul! I’m putting in an order today to get us thru till after this bad weather.

Hi Brittany~~~I have not made resolutions in years. This year I am setting up what I call projects and not putting a time limit but when one is done onto the next. Kind of a year long “to do list”. I used to be an avid book reader and will read one here & there. I like any video you would like to make not picky 😊

I have the same weird phantomn itch thing it feels like it’s my old belly button but that’s not where lol I had mine done the end of 2018 and it does keep getting better! I lost more weight after as well.

Frieda McFadden is one of my new favorite author. She is definitely a psychological/thriller author. I have a lot of the same goals for 2025! I read 17 books and I’m shooting for 50. I don’t read so much physical books now as I read mostly at night before I go to bed. I love my kindle and read on that just about nightly.

We are on the cusp of most likely losing two of our three dogs and my 91 year old father-in-law is not doing well at all, so I think we’re going face some tough things this year, but that’s OK, that’s part of life and the Lord will see us through. He is always faithful.

Happy New Years! I was trying to film my new years video for 2025 goals and hated the way I was doing it. I started to bring my notepad out to jot down my ideas because apparently I needed a plan instead of spitting ideas out while filming haha ANYWAY! Your video was perfect timing and gave me ideas. I TOTALLY get stopping for a season of basketball. That takes so much time and not having any weekends off is a bummer. Its mentally and physically exhausting!! Girl scouts take a lot of my time and Cayla is super involved in it, so I get it. She also wants to get back into plays so we decided to not to do spring Kantorei (choir) because it's a lot of commitment. LOVE that you're going on a cruise!! Can't' believe your son is 6ft. Isn't he like 14? My son grew tall his freshmen and sophomore year. He's 6'2 and may be done growing finally haha

We have a 16, 14 and 10 year old. We have gone on a cruise the last two years and are going again for spring break and all my kids and husband has enjoyed it so much. We do a lot of camping as a family but the cruises definitely top that. Thanks for sharing your hopes for 2025!

Frugal fit mom she's a big reader and actually her whole family is . her. Main source of access to books is the library..she doesn't buy books that. Could save you money

She filled up 11 round condiment squeeze bottles with separate colors of pancake batter. I've never been to Five Below before, but I wanna touch the round "32-ounce" water squeeze bottles.
