I live in western NC in Avery County along the TN border. Still without power and just got phone service back yesterday. It's really bad here with so much devastation. Roads are gone in many places and bridges are few and far between that are still intact. Many lost homes and hundreds are still missing. My family was extremely blessed and no damage to our home and all family has been contacted and safe. We made it to TN Saturday to sams club and stocked up on things we needed. We were going over and under powerlines, and roads that were half gone. But as soon as the water went down the tractors, side by sides, 4 wheelers, and chainsaws came out and the community started clearing the roads as best they could and checked on neighbors and friends. We have shared what we have and taking care of each other. Thank you for the prayers and continue to pray for us.
