My head lights don’t work any idea on how to fix it

Check fuses, check bulbs (could be burned out), check switch and check relays.

I'm getting ready to tackle the exact same job. Transmission and Timing Belt. The previous owner may have had the timing belt done. She will check with the dealership and get me the maintenance history. I hope it was done at 100k like it was supposed to be. Rambling now! When you used that timing kit, did the arrow go up or down for the cam lock? Did the gasket remover work? (Loctite 715) Thank you and Respectfully. Bob
@turnbullgarage8814 күн бұрын
Gasket remover does work, just slowly. The old stuff was way better. The cam lock will only go one way. I can’t remember an arrow on mine. I would think an arrow goes pointing up.
@robertbebout917114 күн бұрын
@ agreed, the arrow should go up. The guy that I watched from Texas, might not have been as thorough as you and I would imagine it can only go in one way, whether it is up or down, the crank lock bolt should not go in if it is wrong. His timing belt kit similar to yours(blue). His was out of time by one tooth. He put the arrow up and it was wrong. I was a machinist for twenty five years. Started in a trade school when I was sixteen and then from 21 to 41 I was active with the Navy. I loved ship and sub repair. Now I’m in nursing school getting ready to finish my first semester. Quite the opposite of being a machinist. Thanks for the great videos. I subscribed.

Hello, I have a question on removing the CV axle. I have seen in another video where the six inner bolts that attach the CV axle are pounded out then pounded back in after the new axle is in position. You did not do that step and seems unnecessary as you R&R. In that other video, those bolts were actually "splined studs". That is why "they don't spin" like you mentioned in the video. What is your opinion is on removing those studs? Thanks!!
@turnbullgarage8811 күн бұрын
They can be pounded out, just make sure there is room to pound them back in fairly easy.

I have a 1996 Sambar that I have been using for getting around town. I bought it knowing the valve stem seals were leaking, but now it appears they've gotten worse since I added seal softener.
