I lost the last half of the footage for this, and wasn't able to move all the stuff I did out and back in and recreate it, health limitations, which is why it can be categorized as "low energy junk." It wasn't about matching what you'd see in a Hollywood production because I didn't have those resources. A year before I published this video, during the summer of 2020, my husband began the biggest medical fight of his life. It took him 8 months to recover, and he's still struggling at 60 with EOAD instead of at 80 like my Grandfather and Father have. I know I don't have it, I was tested, but I did just live with it unchecked for the last TWO YEARS, so maybe that's what's up with all this garbage art I've been making since January 2021. A lot of rage to exhume, cathartic in a lot of ways. My haters should try it! Anyways, April 4th was the anniversary of the first day in 2020 that I brought my dying husband to an ER and they sent him home because he wasn't Covid. Six days later I took him to a different ER, and that happened for three months in a row, they kept him for two-three weeks, and then send him home for a week to come back, three different hospitals & nearly a MILLION bucks in Medical Insurance pay-outs. I kept it all together with what we had, it wiped us, I had nothing left to give a man who decided I was his complaint box. He didn't want to accept something was wrong, that he was being psychologically and verbally abusive to me. He prevented me from having normal routines like breakfast for two years, I eat way less today than I did pre-Covid Pandemic and his illness. I divorced myself from the experience of interacting with him, he got very hostile, I held firm in our garage from January to April 2021, making my ZANY art, it started with just a sound experiment, and became an EXPERIENCE! It's classified as insanity, weakness, idiocy, & even mischaracterized as "disease," but it's all those things LEAVING THE BODY to keep sane mind. Nothing is useless. I realize I have like no pictures of either of them really. If I had enough I could Chroma Key them in, a lot of the frame gets wiped out. Can't dance well otherwise I'd have them dancing as ghosts with an opaque overlay. Will see what I can find/think of. Also don't know if the families would want their images used, so this seemed the simplest way to honor them under the circumstances.
