Love your 2025 plans! My first thought was “oh, no way I could add 25 WIPs!” But I liked your logic around them already being kitted up, so why not start? I bought Cornwall Cottage after I kept drooling over it at Strawberry Sampler too. It’s kitted up, so maybe I’ll watch for your start and start then too. Hope to see you soon at the library or DVHSG.

Another nice job. But OMGoodness! You are ambitious with your WIPGO plans. This is my third year at WIPGO and it has helped me do both - reduce the number of WIPs and add to the number of WIPs because I too added things I had always . Cornwall Cottage is on my board also. You have some pretty ones picked out. Happy New Year. See you in 2025!

Thanks, Robin! I'm glad that WIPGO has helped you make progress on your projects. Cornwall Cottage was actually called for January, and I'm excited to get it started 😃 Happy New Year, my friend 💜

Caitlyn, you do a lovely job on your video. You are a natural in front of the camera. I have found Wipgo to be a great tool for me to continue to put some stitches in projects that might get overlooked. In fact, as I watched your video I was working on backstitching on my oldest wip. And I think I can say that this project from 2021 will be a finish by the end of the year. I attribute my success with Wipgo to the fact that I keep my goals very low (5 days per project - that ‘day’ could be one thread or one hour or five hours). God bless you as you acknowledge that Jesus is the reason. Christine from Ontario

Thank you, Christine! I'm happy to hear that Wipgo is a great tool; I'm excited to see how it works for me in 2025. Thinking of you as you finish your oldest WIP! Happy new year ☺

@ I’d love advice on using the gold filament. I tried it but it is unwieldy. Hard to thread the needle and it makes an ugly “X”. I’m considering frogging it and trying just a DMC. I’m open to suggestions please. TIA

Such a pleasure to spend time with you today, Caitlin, thank you so much! Your finish is just darling, bravo on your one-over-one stitching! Your wips are so pretty - seeing your piece I feel very inspired to purchase that book by Heartstring Samplery with all the Sunday stitches. I mostly stitch one-over-two threads, but that two-over-two does make the stitching look so vivid! Was your Teresa Kogut stitched with two threads also? Can't wait to see your stitch exchange piece! All the best to you and Happy Thanksgiving!
@stitchreadrepeat15 күн бұрын
Thank you so much for watching! I appreciate your kind words ☺ The Teresa Kogut sampler from The Attic was stitched with one strand of floss over two linen threads on a 40 count fabric. It's a softer look that works well for that sampler! :) Wishing you well and hoping you're having a wonderful holiday season!

Love you exchange piece - can’t wait to see the finish. I read a lot of Jodi Piccoult years ago but got a little burned out on her at the time, might have to put one of her newer books on my list. @@twotallstitchers thank you for watching! You may be interested in Jodi’s latest book - it focuses on the struggle of women in a “man’s world” of playwriting, both in Shakespeare’s time and in 2024.
