Don't forget about the microbreweries. Many, many cities have started wetting their toes in microbreweries, ABQ jumped in head-first and hasn't come up for air yet!

The original spelling was Alburquerque before the newcomers removed the first "r" because they couldn't pronounce the Spanish pronunciation. Back when I first was stationed here in 1982 it was a nice town. Ever since the mayors and newcomers have destroyed much of the culture and infrastructure. Central Ave (Route 66) was ruined by the Rapid Ride center boarding bus stations where the vagrants and drug addicts hang out and fight over drugs and sleeping spots. Blue city and state total control will keep Albuquerque in the perpetual state of violence and crime. The police here are nothing more than glorified babysitters who better not step out of their overseers control for the fear of being charged with civil rights violations and imprisoned. The whole state is going through some extreme changes as the Hispanic culture is being marginalized and cancelled by the newcomers, specifically in Santa Fe which is now just a bunch of elitists rich white people from other states who think they are living in the traditional Santa Fe which they ruined. It's sad that the culture of New Mexico is forever lost because of the people who came here who didn't respect what was already here since the 16th century. So if you come here to visit, please be careful and keep your valuables close or hidden. Rental cars and hotel parking lots are often the targets of vandals and thieves looking for a quick drug fix. Enjoy the balloon fiesta, but be patient and please zipper into lanes when at a merging event. No, these are not NM drivers, everyone brought their bad driving habits from where they came from.

Very well articulated You speak the truth about Albuquerque
@openeyed77713 күн бұрын
NM drivers can't drive & it isn't all the newcomers. Which culture are you referring to, indigenous, Hispanic? Hispanics low educated & racist. Not all but many especially among the young. Backwards, rude. Nature is pleasant.
