It looks like norway. How do snow and ice affect the airflow to the filter?

This was a summer car - the intake was under the windshield well protected from snow and ice, can't imagine this being a problem👍 And Yes - it's Norway 😀

Just had mine fitted, They sound better in person, I also fitted a BOV Reducer pipe so it flutters on lower boost. But still vents into the induction system.

Man on the Road - there are no words how thankful I am for this video 😊 I have already ordered this Forge induction kit and so excited to build in. But there are a few negative people around me 😕 they told me to sell it and it is not good ☹ I Dont Agree! I think it is great! The guy told me that I will lose torque in lower revs 🥺 and it will suck only more warm air. I think thisi is false! Cab you confirm me! It sucks more cold or colder air than the original factory setup. It is directly under the windshield so it sucks more directly from the environment! I love this swooosh sound also 😍 Did you experience that it jumps more easily or pulls faster? I think maybe the turbo kicks in a little bit later... but come on, this is a few milliseconds or 1 second... you know there professional guys who are looking at a car only from professional point of view and they are chasing always the horsepower. I think the situatook is the same here 🙂 this is a great product. Also no problem by carwash, right? Please share your thoughts and experiences with me Man On The Road 😊 Thank you, Edward

Hi Edward! No bad experience with this intake. Like you said - it takes cold air from under the windshield, I have no issues with water coming in (and I drive the car in heavy rain some times) I just love the noise every time I drive the car. Not shure if I noticed a big difference in the way the car drives, I installed a cheap tuning box from TMC Motorsport right after putting on the Forge intake - that really made a difference 😁 Only negative comment I got was from my wife the first time she drove it (because of the sound), but she can take the bus if it bother her. At high way speed you only hear it if you accelarate. Just enjoy the sound when you have installed it👍

@@themanontheroad thanks a lot for your kind words and also for your experience 😊 I will install my Forge and come back to you 😉 I was also wondering to add a chip tuning box, but it is cheating the ECU and the data signals, so I prefer to bring my car to a professional chip tuning station where they measure the stock/factory performance with original settings on a DYNO and after they write a unique software for my needs and after that they measure again the new performance on the DYNO if they get the required numbers - they are tuning and fining the sofrware until we get the desired performance 🙂 I got a Turismo with the big Garrett turbo 165HP originally and there is a potential until 200HP for sure with secure engine run. I will let you know about the final result 😎 thanks a lot again and ai was laughing my ass off about your wife... take the bus 🤣🤣🤣

@@themanontheroad hi bro... many thanks for your interest... honestly you were also on my mind, but I regret to tell you that I sent back to the seller... look I have an almost 200 BHP MY2018 Abarth 595C cabrio with a Magnetti Marelli exhaust and it sounds really like a Lamborghini... this induction kit was sooo fckin' noisy that I could not stand at 😃 it swooshes everytime, no matter how smooth or hard I push the gaspedal... it was irritating for me, disturbing, nevertheless it delivers the required air mass later as the diameter is half of the original airbox. So my car got weak, I got a torque loss in the lower section and this pushed toward to send back. But at least I tried 😊 by the way I am happy if you are happy with it, we are different with different needs 😉

Only rear section Ragzzon silencer. Mid section and sport catalyst are my next projects👍 Due to the current exchange rates I'll have to wait - part prices has increased 30% 😭

@@eriiis It's original 135 hp - installed a tuning box from TMC Motorsport and a Forge induction kit. No idea what the horsepower is now, but the 180hp Abarths don't outrun me

Thanks for this share. I’ve just fitted my forge now and like you say no regrets at all. Makes you want to drive the car more and certainly no performance lost.

The man on the Road I don’t think it will ever get old. Again many thanks for sharing this as it did help me decide on the forge kit. Will do the bov next although it probably isn’t needed in all honesty after the induction kit but it’s bought so will be put on anyway lol. Great video sounds exactly how mine now does 👌

How do u keep water out of the filter if its piped under the windshield?

No water is coming in to the filter - like you say, it's under the windshield

Was thinking of getting this for my Abarth 500, but just wanted to know 1. Does it affect how the car drives (have heard its noticeably quicker at the top end , but is a bit different at low rpm) 2. Is there any annoying droan when driving on motorways/highways at all?

Hi, 1. I don't feel that it's less power in low rpm - I only drove the car a week before installing a tuning box, can't say I notise a loss in power at all 2. Sound: When driving on a highway you only hear a droan when accelerating. Driving with a constant rpm you don't notice it at all, but I like the noise, my wife hate it :-)

Abarths are fitted with Electronic Recirculation valves which feedback into the stock airbox, With the forge kit installed, The Pshshhs noise is heard, Alternatively What's known as a Popoff filter can be fitted which converts it into a Proper Bov, Its essentially a 25mm Breather filter.
