What type of roofing sheet is that please? I think I like that more than the typical aluminium silver roofing sheet which after a while starts to rust and turns brown. Will this type of roofing sheet fade colour after a while in the sun please? Excellent video, brilliantly explained, thank you.

This sheet is called Euro tiles, because it is stone coated it doesn’t rust easily.

I like what you did here. Nice straight cuts and awesome way to create that step. Just wondering why you don’t start with a full shingle. I would usually bump that starter out four inches so my seams don’t line up and start with a full. I guess the difference might be that I also run starter up the gable which fills that gap at the bottom.

Sorry there was 4 inch seems ain’t gonna cut it. Anything under 6 inches voids the manufacturer warranty.

Agree, born and raised in the northwest 1" overhang all around. Moved down to Arizona a few years ago. No overhang on asphalt shingles. I think it's because of the winds. (Not a roofer by trade).
