Pakistan cricket fans need to come with terms with the fact that there just isn’t enough talent in domestic cricket.

All this political stuff and PCB chairman changes are nothing but red herrings. The team clearly does not have the talent to compete with higher nations. Pakistan is just awful.

We can't just blame this administration, tbh and none bias as soon as Najem Sethi came in, the Zaka Ashraf and now Mosin Naqvi. Politics has ruined the country and now the cricket.

The problem with Shan he is an average player. Very lucky to be in the test team. Also he is 34 so doubt he will be around for long term. Rizwan shouldn't be in the T20 team, but don't mind him as ODI captain .

Unfortunately pakistan cricket will not be the same moving forward. Realistically test cricket has died outside of the big three. Majority of pak players want leagues/money over long format cricket which is ment to improve a player in every aspect. Current crop of pak players are amongst the weakest mentally. Cricket is now a mental game more than ever and this team is mentally fragile and ego driven. I think accepting pak is a mid tier team is the best way moving forward. They will occasionally do well against the big three but not consistently enough to challenge in test/odi cricket.

Mirza Iqbal is right .... this man's solution is appropriate. The country has a lot of depth in talent. Time might be ripe for blooding in new set if youngsters..get rid of these guys.. give them NOCs ... 1. Imad wasim 2. Mo Amir 3. IFTIKHAR 4. AZAM KHAN For discipline issues and team politics-- 5. Shaheen (shahid afridi's politics) 6. Rizwan(undermining babar's authority) For cricketing reasons-- 7. Harris Rauf 8. Shadab khan Give babar a clear target... 160 sr (regardless of how much he scores), naseem as a bowling allrounder.. abrar and usama mir. Give new players a chance... create opportunities for them to succeed..

Truly shocking story you told about the players refusing to field and been told by PCB they will not participate. I don't think that would ever happen in any other country apart from Pakistan.

Some sensible points to ponder for.. and this is coming from an Indian.

Pakistan team can learn to freagin RETIRE FROM CRICKET altogether for such crimes against cricket in general, the past 4-5 years have been nothing but player politics, destruction of the carriers of younger talent, lack of player development and money hungry attitude.

First of all don't mix up retired players to the current squad even though they performed well in PSL .. Second one : Don't make any decisions regarding the fan base of players and all the Pakistani fans doing worse if some one not performs in 2 or 3 matches they are trolling the cricket very much and selectors looking onto this ... 3rd won : make fresh blood as captain from now and that good be good sign or else . Don't know why Shadab Khan not considered as captain . He is a different gem if he is the captain surely very worthy option and thinking cricketer among all

Biggest issue for Pakistan is the lack of batsmen, there is only 3 batsmen and the rest are all hacks or fake all-rounders. Rizwan and Babar have absolute no trust in rest of the team for batting, that is why the anchor role is being played because every other batsmen is failing every time. If Babar and Rizwan don't make runs and don't do well, Pakistan cannot win whether the total be 100 or 200. However, anchor business has to end and proper batsmen/all-rounders need to be played 1-7 at the very least. No gimmicks, no hacks just simple cricket plus the top order needs to have faith in the middle order. A big clear out is needed and a fresh start.

I am not mad at PAK that they lost to IND. I am mad at them because they fucked up the opportunity to progress into the Super 8. Pathetic
