Hello Hubert Sorry for my late response For the wave selection it really depends on the size of the waves and the ability to read the ocean, the best when you start wave sailing and you can see the set coming is to always catch the last wave of the set, to optimize the wave selection make your runs shorter if it’s not busy in your spot stay close to where the wave breaks and make jibe on the wave you want to catch before anyone else do, make sure there is no one jibing at the same time as you upwind, as they have priority over you, The best way to recognize the right wave is to try and observe the water movement, if there is a ground swell it’s a lot easier to see a set coming and decide the one to choose, the more you observe the ocean horizon and the nearby waters the more you will develop your skill to read the sets.

Hi Boujmaa, Thank you for this video, I like how you show two very different bottomturns, one deep and one short on the wave face to keep speed. Could you please include instructions on hand movement? When do you transition between wide grip and hands together and why. Greetings from Holland! Sound and volume is oke for me
