Wie wurde die Stromversorgung vom Auslegermotor gebaut? Welchen Motor hast du in das Führerhaus eingebaut, damit der Ausleger sich heben und senken lässt? Kannst du da ein genaueres Video machen? Ich würde gerne meinen 7051 auch so umbauen.

Hallo, der Motor sitzt unter dem "Ausgleichsgewicht" des Auslegers. Das Originalblech habe ich dazu gegen einen Eigenbau aus einem Stück Kunsstoff (Teil des Modells eines Sattelschlepperaufbaus in H0, passt optimal) ausgetauscht. Es ist ein kleiner Mini-Getriebemotor. Der Einbau im Führerhaus hab ich auch schon gesehen, eigentlich von der Seilführung die bessere Lösung. Hier sitz der Motor hinter der Seilwinde. Auf dem Unterteil, auf dem das Kranhaus sitzt, habe ich neben dem vorhandenen einen Schleifring zur Stromabnahme noch 2 Kupferringe aufgeklebt und entsprechend im Boden des Kranhauses 3 originale Schleiffedern angebracht. Dazu muss mindestens noch 1 kleine Öffnung gebohrt/gefräst werden. Alles in allem viel Tüftelarbeit was die Abstände der Ringe und die exakte Position der Schleifer angeht. Do the switches in the joystick power the motors and magnet directly or is there a interface in between to switch the current?

The 2 motors of the crane directly (AC) . The motor from the crane boom (DC) , the light (AC) and the magnet (AC) over interface. The joystick is a old commodore competiton pro with 4 fire buttons. 2 for the crane boom (up/down) as momentary pushbutton, the other 2 (light/magnet) over special interface (impuls switch) as lookbutton ( on and out)

@@JL-uc1hy Do you think its possible to convert the ac motors to dc and then use rc speed controllers to regulate there speed/ direction? A arduino might be able to read out a analog joystick and generate the ppm data for the speed controllers.That migth increase the presision and also reduce some of the noice of the old motors.

I have read, that it is possible and no problem to convent the motors to DC, look at internet. I use a small DC volt reducer for the motor of the crane boom, at the 2 original motors the Märklin AC old transformer/speed controller. But there is one problem: The Märklin magnet need AC in the long run, otherwise he demagnetized. Then you must changed DC to AC for the magnet with a small changer, or you use the Roco magnet (DC).
