I would have put nightmare on elm streets title screen music on this list also, good list regardless, was a fun listen. My favorites on this list were nightmare and cabin fever and yes ill admit that I play ft13th nes more than any other games and the game is one of my all time favorites lol

I havent played ShatterHand in years, but Ive beaten it several times and I don't remember that song at all, too generic. Replace it with Final Fantasy, Wizards and Warriors, Journey to Silius, Airwolf, Willow, Solstice---man... so much memorable music.

I would add Ducktales, Gremlins and Super Mario 3 to the list. Ducktales has a lot of very catchy themes besides the well known moon theme, Gremlins has a pretty amazing soundtrack and Mario 3 has a few really great tracks too. The world 7 music might be my favourite.

Just wanted to say that this playlist is excellent. People are taking "best" too seriously. These make me want to listen to the whole ost of games I haven't even played!
