Wat een prachtige compositie. Gitaar en hoorn vertellen samen een gepassioneerd verhaal. Melancholisch, zoals Erwin dat kan. Ruud Breuls volgt met zijn hoorn op mooie wijze de gitaarlijnen van Erwin. Dit is een signature song. Overigens is zijn album Baboe een juweeltje qua songs en geluidskwaliteit.

Amazing ALL- GUITAR. NOTE: IF DAVE IS A KING- TYPE- BEE, BEE VERY CAREFUL••We spotted 1 last summer & amazingly while it was humming just as if powered by twin turbo fans it had "GOODYEAR" markings on both sides. Wow, BIG dude he was but he flew over at a few hundred feet bothering no one. Our Co Producer👀 swears she saw another King Bee last year but it's markings looked more like "Cooper"- To me, that 1st one looked almost like a blimp••Oh, who knows🤔but perhaps a giant Queen Bee?!😲😱🤯😳🙏🙃🤪

Yep, the planets aligned when these guys got together. With Ritchie on drums, and the Great Billy Payne on keyboards, and Lowell with that slide, once Paul, Sam, and Kenny joined the mix, it was magic.

Yeah, I know what you're thinking...who the f*** are these guys? Well, I'll tell you...just possibly the best RnR band ever. The best advice I can give you is pull up WAITING FOR COLUMBUS, and listen to the first 3 tracks. If you don't get it by then, you may just not get it. But go on to listen to the whole album, and then tell me they're nobody. BTW, still love you Lowell.

I saw them a year after this - jusr a few months before Lowell died - at the College of William & Mary. Mindbogglingly exciting concert. At that point they were the tightest, best rock and roll band in the world - yeah, better than whoever you're thinking of.
