My tip is: never trust retarded stat cards. I noticed it myself while climbing in p47 at 300kph IAS, in stat card its climb rate is 14 m/s, while in reality it was 21. All values in stat card is basically lie.

The plane stats aren't very reliable, first do research the plane by watching videos and asking experienced players.

About chosing ammo belt at the speed of every bullet in it is defined by the first one. So sometime is better to chose that with armor piercing round first because they tend to go faster and make aiming with a whole belt easier.

advice for trying to get people to overshoot: decrease your throttle so you slowdown, once they pass you, you can increase throttle again, but AVOID doing this near the ground, you may crash, also, gain more altitude, like go for 3-5 km . then you have somewhere to get speed from.
