Yes! So, I had some Warlord soviets lying around gathering dust and I think they work pretty well for certain Turnip minis, it just depends because you have to pick which bodies match the aesthetic. I think the big coats do fit the game rather well.

Turnip for the win! I used the same kit. Added some Perry War of the Roses bits. I gave my guys curled-up trunks and ski jump GS noses, and called them Le French!
