Thus marks the ending of the Scott era, and thus, the beginning of a new story arc under Steel Wool. The Scott era's story is only one version of how things really went down in the FNAF universe. The Steel Wool era is supposed to be the newer, improved version of that with even more details. Fazbear Entertainment even explains in Help Wanted that the Scott games, which they themselves put out, were in response to the rumors of death and murder surrounding the company, in order to dispel and make light of it. To make the monsters they created into lovable characters they could profit off of. The narratives in the Scott games are somewhat unreliable for that reason. I know there are people who have a problem with the new direction FNAF has taken, but I honestly love it and hope Mr. Fazbear's Wild Ride never ends.
