These were the singers, this was not a Frank Farian production. It is suprising the the lead singer Laura Fygi, who is more attractive than most models, can actually sing, she is now a jazz singer, I assume she no longer sings scantily clad.

It was incredible to listen to and loved the song. Seeing it live was even more incredible closing the show with the bombs going off. I was at the Sept 2, 1977 show and back then they used bombs that would shake the floor hard

they were very determined from the start: they hired well known engineers from finvox studios/helsinki, who also had already worked for children of bodom, amorphis, nightwish and many more and produce a more european/finnish sound.

@@mvj153 I just wrote you a huge reply and its disappeared. This happened yesterday to me as well when commenting on a post. I have Spinal fluid that restricts my mobility but if removed could see me in a wheelchair. I also have Fibromyalgia but I can walk and do most things, just live in constant pain.

I have many Filipino friends here in NZ. I have met them all through workplaces and they are the hardest workers I know. They were always willing to step in and help me when my health declined to get me through each shift until I was medically forced to retire when I was 57. When they relax they put on the most lavish spreads for friends and family (still hardwork lol). I can honestly say I have made lifelong friends with them all. Now to the weather there, I would love the rainy season but cant do heat at all. Sometimes we have 4 seasons in one day here, just unpredictable. I couldnt drive there way too crazy for me lol. 😊

Hi again @helenpeterson 🙂, first I want to say I hope your heath is not getting worse. Thank you again for watching & commenting on the video. Yes I have not experienced the hospitality the way Filipino do with any other group of people. I used to travel to many countries when I worked and every place there were Filipino workers. It’s nice that your Filipino friends helped you out when you were going through difficult times. So you can have 4 seasons in one day is crazy 🤪. I guess you never know how to dress for the day.

@@mvj153 I have fluid on the spine that if removed could see me in a wheelchair so along with that and Fibromyalgia and other joint problems I live in constant pain but I hey I am alive, I can walk and do most things but know my limits. My Specialist told me I had to stop working, I used to be an Evening Cook in a resthome. The girls would help me lift heavy trays and pots, lift the mats etc for me to clean the floors each night so I didnt always have to bend down. The pain was unbearable and now just before Christmas I started going into Kidney Failure and to help with that I had to stop taking a pain medication so cant win lol. I have a huge supportive family, 2 adult children and 2 beautiful grandkids that keep me busy. Yes we have a beautiful country and I grew up in Lyttelton and will attach a video. It is part of stunning Banks Peninsula here in Christchurch NZ and at points 10.28 and 11.16 you will see my old family home which is Heritage listed. It is the mocha coloured 2 storey house with white fascia details. I woke to that Harbour view every day until I got married in 1991, it was never taken for granted. My parents sold the house either that same year or '92 cant quite remember but I moved from Lyttelton on Boxing Day 1993. kzbin.info/www/bejne/bGbEgpuierqVgacsi=uKihac-u8cKhHJyE

It's a shame that the quality wasn't what it should have been, because this is, perhaps, Dolly's best performance of this song. This performance was from Dolly's 1983 concert in London's Dominion Theater that filmed and released as a US television special that same year. I keep hoping that someone will re-release the entire concert at some point. Many of Dolly's songs from the late '60s, and into the very early '70s were very dark, and told similar stories. "My Blue Ridge Mountain Boy", "The Bridge" and "Just Because I'm a Woman" are definitely all worth a listen.

How do Y'all do? If I may, this song is based on a true story by the composer Mr Hall. First name of his I forget, anyway he wrote the song in '68 or so 30 years after the event happened! He changed the names for the innocent people! Great reaction, oh btw, the ice reference in song is NOT a drug reference like most young people think! Ice was delivered to people for their food! Peace❤🐍

4:35 You’re absolutely correct!! This is a classic Italo-disco track, and I’m sure Sabrina Salerno is Italian. If I’m correct, Italo-disco is a branch of Eurobeat which is known for high energy synths and easy lyrics. Sabrina may have sung her own tracks, but women in the songs were half of the time chosen for their visual appeal, and sometimes were visual stand ins for background singers. Milli-Vanilli type stuff. *as for what follows towards the end of the video: some sort of 90s Eurobeat track paying homage to the classic 80s song “Do You Really Need Me” by K. B. Caps. Loved your reaction!!!🌺💕

The struggle is real. I had a lot of weight gain due to medication and limited mobility due to spinal issues. I used to walk daily around a native wetland/walkway close to home and if I try to walk it now I get 10mins in and struggle to get back nevermind complete the track. My doctor finally agreed to medication changes which helped me lose weight but now I cant sleep without sleeping pills. Its a real struggle also as then I lack energy. I have many many Filipino friends here in New Zealand and most are lean due to dietary living. One of my other friends who struggled with weight lost over 20kgs simply by not eating after 7pm each night and didnt change anything she ate. Everyones weight journey is so different, just take each day as it comes. When you move and be with your beautiful lady you will probably be returning to this vlog a year down the track and telling us how much weight you have lost through healthier eating patterns. I also think age has a lot to do with our metabolism slowing down and makes losing weight that much harder. I wish you well in your journey.

Thank you for watching & commenting. Yeah I did not take in consideration age being a factor this time around. I too have lower back issues which effects me if I stand to long. Losing the extra weight will help the degree of pain but I will always have it regardless. Hopefully by a year from now I’ll have lost 80lbs or at least close to it.

@@mvj153 back pain is not nice, I was forced to retire at 57 due to fluid on my spine. They can fix it but couldnt guarantee I would ever walk again so that was a no from me so they forced me to stop work (I was an evening Cook in a Retirement Village ). So yes can relate to back pain also. Medication hardly helps but sometimes takes the edge off.

Very nice - a much more melodic song - so different from their normal heavy approach - so good to see their growth and willingness to change things up - as always they impress - as a Westerner , I'm curious about their personal lives ... but I'm sure they wish to remain so Japanese and so private ...
