In my project I have a oracle 19c db installed on linux host...we are creating packages, procedures tables etc in that db, and i need to use that database in Apex application building? getting error as 'java' is not recognized as an internal or external command, operable program or batch file. on ords installation steps, what could be the reason?

Thanks for video. I think if you invoke deinstall from outside the directory rather than cd'ing into it you won't get those "failed to remove" errors. I'm doing a 19c Standard Edition upgrade to Enterprise Edition, which really means I'm uninstalling SE using the deinstall. For me the confusing thing is that, 1) do I need to uninstall the listener? I know the oracle_home network .ora files are part of that configuration, but I selected "." to deselect my listener and it dropped service anyway. The other interesting thing is that it found my existing database but didn't seem to allow me to NOT drop it. I'm covered with backups so no tears, but I really am not a fan of the deinstall tool. Finally, I'd advise anyone who might be doing this as part of migration or "EE upgrade" to backup database, home, inventory, and FRA (as advised on official instructions). I even back up registry for home, though I've never needed it.
