The 2lb bucket of Satin Ice should be enough. Maybe a little bit more just in case.

Thank you! Yeah it would be difficult to make a buttercream horn. The ears are definitely possible in buttercream form though!

I'm sorry! I just handpainted the Kate Spade in and then for the New York below it, I painted a gold rectangle and used a toothpick to write in New York. Hope that helps! :)

No, the buttercream will be hard if you chill it before. Make sure it's at room temp before icing the cake ;)

Thank you! Yes you can use a ruler to mark the lines. Just make sure not not to press the ruler on the fondant. :)

I m a beginner. Like I make soft n decent cakes which are yummy with a decent frosting. I learnt everything from youtube. I have always loved eating cakes since a child. Recently realistic cakes have caught my heart I m going to try this. It looks pretty simple to make and realistic in nature😀

It's a buttercream cake. The only fondant are the eyes, ears and horn. You can pip the eyes but the ears and the horn would be quote difficult to achieve without fondant :)

For the sake of just making this KZbin tutorial shoot and the fact that no one ate this cake after as it was just made for the tutorial, no I decided to keep my hair down. I ALWAYS tie up my hair when baking for clients. Thanks for your concern! ;)

You can use either a little bit of water to stick fondant together or edible glue which is a mixture of meringue powder and water. :)
