Andrew! Hello! My name is Rodion. I really hope that my letter reaches you. I am engaged in psychology and psychotherapy in Russia, since I live and work here. I was very inspired by your books, perhaps they made the maximum impact on me from the literature that I have read recently. I will be very glad to get to know you and get advice on how best to popularize a happy life in Russia. With best wishes.

Andrew, I read your book in 1995 and it changed my life. Now, almost 30 years later, I found this utube channel and wow, brought so many great memories. I have gone off track with happiness and how wonderful to be able to loop back. I also found your book so I obviously kept it all these years:)

Have always loved your stuff! Discovered it going through my divorce! The only regret I had was I should have taken it everywhere I went! When I felt down and I thought of it or the book was staring me in the face I would just open any pages of being happy and within seconds I had snapped out of my pity party! Thanks! I would borrow my copy to other people with the agreement they would promise to buy their own it proved they were serious about change! I never paid full price for any book! However, for your books I will always pay full price! Otherwise I am not serious about change and moving on! Thanks!

My cousin was 16 y/o; he was shot and murdered a few days ago; he was a good kid but was desperate to make money and change his lifestyle, maybe patience would have made a difference in his life. Another teen in my family from different circumstances almost lost her mind when I told her who I supported as a political candidate; so maybe not being so judgmental or a bit more respect/ empathy for others could be the ticket.

Gidday Andrew, I learned so much from you, when I met you way back, at the very first seminar that you held in Adelaide, and since then have continued to be passionate about learning all about what makes us tick. One thing that I learned is that the truth never changes, and that some truths are so simple that they are easily dismissed as being too simple to be true, or of any use. To compare it to the physical health and fitness world, a simple truth often overlooked, even by world champions and experts, is that exercise doesn’t make you fitter, it’s important, but its the stress part of the process. Exercise makes you stressed, less fit, if you don’t stop, you die, so we have things like ‘persistence running’ hunting techniques. Its when you rest, after exercise that your body recovers and gets ‘fitter’. So many struggle with that simple fact. Remind yourself of how a sun tan works, many people trying to get fitter and healthier are walking around virtually, perpetually sun burned in the health and fitness sense. So one thing, one truth really stands out to me, and knowing you and your deluxe success story, all the people that you have touched and helped, there’s no doubt that you would succeed. ‘I already knew it could be difficult to find a publisher. So I had a plan.’ And, guess what, the plan, believed, seen and created… manifested, attracted, however we want to explain it, through that lense of ‘I already knew that it could be difficult to find a publisher’. It came true! I learned that in the very first seminar that you ran in Adelaide. And I learned that from many other astounding people that I have met since. Yet, so often I overlooked that all powerful, unchanging, ever so simple truth. With literally 100 percent foolproof results. Which I guess, brings us to the lenses. Its funny, when I ride around my home on my motorbike I often wear sun glasses if there’s a lot of bugs around. Often then, I’ll find myself thinking that that I’d better get a move on, as it looks dark and ominous, rain coming. When I take the sunnies off, I realize that no, its actually nice, and how great and vibrant everything is. Surely it couldn’t be as simple as noticing, examining, then changing or removing the lense, our beliefs and thoughts, which are often unconscious and habitual? And which colour every minute aspect and detail of our life. One of the wisest people that I ever met, when begged by thousands and thousands of people, year after year, for the secret to everything, used to laugh and say, ‘change your mind and change your life, and remember who you are!’ Then everyone would often moan and say that he was just playing games, and continue to press him for the ‘real secrets’. He would laugh even more! Then I would laugh, and remember what I learned from you Andrew so long ago! And even better, changing our mind, our thoughts is the one thing always available to us. And it doesn’t cost a cent. Surely…

@@AndrewMatthewsAuthor Me too Andrew, I’m really happy that your life is so deluxe. Over the years I have told many people about you, and about way back when you literally pioneered ‘personal development’, or whatever we want to call it, in South Australia. And what you created out of that. I still remember that first introductory session that you ran, and then the following first seminar. It truly was groundbreaking, and controversial back then, and I remember an Adelaide newspaper actually sent two ‘spies’ to debunk and ‘expose’ it, as hidden attendees. Who then revealed themselves towards the end, because they were totally overwhelmed by what they described to us, as a positive, powerful, amazing, life changing experience that they had! What stood out then, what I love telling people, besides that truly amazing, often ‘miraculous’ stuff, and besides your knowledge and unique skills, is how unbelievably courageous you were, and are, and how truly, deeply sincere, and how truly, deeply passionate you are, a genuine example and ambassador for your message. So, to be honest, your success and story doesn’t surprise me in the slightest. I still remember when an amazing thing happened, and I told you that I was quitting my job, and moving to a place where I truly loved to surf. Out of genuine care and concern you asked me how long did I think I would surf for? And I answered, ‘forever!’ You should see the surf where I live now! I laugh in a good way, when people holidaying and visiting here ask me in amazement, ‘you live here! Really… it’s a tropical paradise! You are so lucky!’ So thanks again Andrew, for truly being Andrew.
