This was a great topic for Topic Tuesday. Your holiday toppers are beautiful. I love all of the looks you can create with so many different finishes. The sparse gold with a little red glitter in it is my favorite I guess because that is so pretty and it's also unique.

Way back I got "Celestial Silver" for a friend and regretted not getting myself a bottle lol, but like you say some indies are stronger in comparison. I think it's still cool though. That Laquester is incredible! I have 3 from that brand, but not that one. I think "Mortal Coil" has similar vibes though. "Lion..." really is one of the most perfect polishes, so glad I was able to get that one at the time.

Is BKL a lion with a thorn a dupe for 1999?? I know you didn’t swatch either out but the swatch pictures look identical! If so, you have a “backup” of that polish!

I love A-England holos, their holo formula is quite unique. Do you happen to know what’s going on with the brand, I saw an Instagram post about a close-out sale but it was vague.

I was surprised by the last three. I understand about the OPI. It’s pretty but it is disappointing when a shimmer doesn’t translate to the nails. TFS!

I keep my Peal Jammin with the greys. I never thought of it as a blue.

I love a-England Tristam. I bought it when it was first released. The formula has changed slightly over time but that’s to be expected in a bottle that’s a dozen years old. Check Out the Old Gey-sirs was a disappointment but I just wear it as a cream. It’s not my favorite polish with my skin tone so it probably needs to be purged from my collection.

Oh wow, I had no idea the Color Club lids could crack like that [also never seen that brand in the kind of triangular bottles]. And I've also got a lot of lighter blue sparkly polishes, accidentally bought 2 that are basically identical in color but I think the finish is slightly different. Been a while since I wore Essie's Main Attraction and I'm keeping the LA Colors one in Sublime as LA Colors is hard to find where I am. I agree with you about Check Out the Old Gey-sirs!, I also bought it because I expected the shimmer to be visible at all on my nails. I do still use it on occasion, but it might as well be a cream/creme. Don't know what to do with it as it's not something that I reach for with any frequency + places near me aren't accepting nail polish any longer and I've got 2 boxes just sitting around.

I am so sad not to be able to get Aruba Blue anymore. That was my summer pedicure color every year! Love that blue polish 💙

I was excited to see the Fancy Gloss reflective topper on your wheel; that makes every creme polish festive IMO. Other than that, my favorite holiday toppers are Disco Ball Drop by China Glaze, and Son Of a Nutcracker by Funky Fingers (it's a store brand from a place called Five Below [where everything is $5 or less] but they don't make nail polish anymore, sadly). Love these picks!

Really enjoyed that Amanda, I've just ordered 3 toppers off Rainbow connect cant remember names and never ordered off them before. Used to do PPU but when they stopped UK one I stopped as costs just went too high for me personally to justify it 🙊. Tfs

I love this idea! I really appreciate your pairing of toppers with the base colours you’d wear them with, because some toppers are their best over something other than black or white! I really love my iridescent flakie toppers and my scattered holo topper. I have a small white circle glitter topper that I can use for snowflakes, though it’s great at Easter too with pastels.

I did the same thing this month. ❤ My combinations are a berry and a glittery white, green and gold, blue and silver, red and gold, light pink and shimmering taupe (for a more neutral look) and the final is a glittery dark shade for new year’s 😅 Love the combinations you shared ❤✨🎄
