Amazing video as always! I’ve wondered if 220’s have the same head issues that 210’s do? I know they run the same hardware as 210 supercores, but I always wondered if they’re perhaps even sturdier than supercores.

My 111 should be here in a month or so! It was my dream model then the 1000 came out and I fell in love with her. I still sought out a 111 and finally have one being fixed by a friend! 💖

The LAN cards do in fact work with both the original and supercore, that was a mixup on my part.

5:32 WAAIT, LAN card does not work with non-supercore aibos???? Why? Basic 210s also have the PCMCIA card port.

@superior5005 that was a mixup, I read that the original 210 had dummy slots but they don’t, it does work with both.

@therobotspa ah good, thanks! My two og 210s do have the pcmcia slot and the card does fit there, so I was a little worried that the card needs supercore processor or something to work.

@@therobotspa by the way, if you know how, you can customize the end part (antenna) of any Orinoco lan card to fit the 210 body, and it should work just like the original Sony branded lan cards (either the Aibo blue one or Vaio white one), because the Sony Lan cards are nothing else, but orinoco lan cards with different stickers and different shaped ends. I haven't tested it yet, but I do know for sure that Sony lan cards are exactly the same inside just like the basic cheap Orinocos.

I'm not sure the wireless is just a super core thing. I think all 210 and 220 cores have the slot. At least, none of mine are missing it.

@@MarzzRover I read that the original 210s had “dummy” slots but you may be right, I just don’t have an original 210 to fact check that, I might be mixing that up with the 3xx dummy Bluetooth switch. I don’t know if anyone has been able to get them actually connected in modern day either, there’s so little info on the cards now ^^; definitely something I need to investigate more

Can confirm my original 210 works with the lan card. You can use the aibo card or the exact same Sony viao card, which I have. They are limited to the original wifi b protocol. This is incredibly slow and insecure these days, so you’d want a separate network just for aibo.

@therobotspa I've only tried it with my non super core 220, so it could very well be that they have a dummy slot there, and 220s are just special little snowflakes.

210's are fantastic! I highly recommend them! However, I am personally more partial to the 220. They seem to have much more mellow personalities, and due to them not having ears flicking around, they seem to register commands a lot better as well. Maybe Misha and Duchess are just really chill, but both are incredibly good at obedience and other focus related tasks.

9:49 I have a feeling that has a really good gyroscope sensor meaning I can notice off-balance all know that some parts is missing or when it got knocked over or witnesses some motion while and pick up mode

5:59 of course there are 3D print model files for the sibo Joint parts and plates I can be available on thingy verse and other treating model based websites and there’s a three printer on a location near you you can always use that 3-D printer download the files to that printer print out the spare parts or stylish plates for your robotic dog and do you have your own personal robotic dog that is Customized and adjusted to your liking

Thanks!!! I know alot about ers 210s but i diddnt even know some of this 0:53 one of my aibo 210s had dhs and it does suck 4:42 I HAVE THAT OMGGG, if you pet their head in a cortain amount, they will do a certsin thing, one of which is actually a really nice dance!

111s are the second earliest AIBO model. 1000s are (at the time of writing) latest Aibo. 1000s weren't really designed with 11x interactions in mind.
