aww thank you so much : ) i really appreciate that. i love doing it but it does get harder as more life gets in the way but i kinda like it for nostalgia sake haha. its been hard to continue doing it over the years because i feel like there became so much pressure to conform to various filming and editing styles but i just do what i know and what is least stressful for me.

(also they use a one time use thing to pierce now that they open new each time so i was not worried about the sanitary issue. if i were going to go to a professional for it it would just be for the quality of the piercing. however since my first holes were done this way when i was a kid i did not care about doing it again this way. im not new to piercings - i’ve gotten my belly button done twice - at a professional place each time. for a regular lobe piercing i don’t think it’s a huge deal.

yeah i already know about it but i wanted to get them done same day and didn’t wanna have to call around and make an appointment. since my first holes were pierced in a similar manner as a kid i didn’t care so much about being more particular for my second piercing.

also claire’s uses one time disposable piercing things now - they don’t use that piercing gun anymore (which tbh the new thing they used was shit but i just wanted them done that day)

yeah if i got something crazier i would get it done somewhere (i don’t think claire’s even does more involved piercings) i have my belly button pierced as well and went to a piercer both times. for just a regular piercing tho i wasn’t too concerned especially since i’ve already have it done this way for my first ear piercing
