I did! And I've since made it again! It's very good with beef stew. Thank you for your concern 😁

Any idea of the resistance of the ignition coil?
@SnodBlatter5 жыл бұрын
According to the manual the primary coil resistance (between the two small tangs) should be -.17-0.19 ohms, the secondary coil resistance (tang to end of HT lead) should be 3.9-4.3 ohms.

Hi Jennifer, it turned out that the main +12v wire to the temperature gauge had broken away from the back of the gauge and was shorting on the metal body straight to earth. Once I'd found the fault it was obvious what was happening! You can find the thread for it here: www.k100-forum.com/t11360-turn-the-key-and-almost-nothing-happens

I guess you could call it a popping sound - it was scored cams and rockers making this noise, a fresher set have made the top quiet again. I the cause is low oil pressure from an extra hole in the new conrod.. Anyway clearances are 0.05mm (0.002 in) for the inlet and 0.08mm (0.003 in) for the exhaust, and the idle mixture (air) screw should be 1 3/8 open though I think I am running it at half a turn less for a richer mixture - it keeps it from stalling coming to a stop with this exhaust on it.

It's a road-legal system from Predator. It has a nice sound but is still maybe a bit too loud. They are supposedly made from stainless but mine came out in a rash of rust the first time it saw rain.. On the other hand the outlet actually slightly points downwards so it doesn't fill with rain, which is really nice.

What type of exhaust system have you got fitted ?
