That is absolutely amazing! Can I please ask what effect you have on the wall behind it where you placed the finished cuboard? ❤

Hi. I noticed you did not sand the previous stain off like other videos do. Is just a scruff up enough to attach the chalk paint? Thanks ❤

This is my first time watching a video on your channel and what a delight! I love the way this project turned out, everything about it. The piece itself is cute, but your treatment of image transfer really transformed it into a beauty and piece of art. The character of aged and worn is lovely, and I like the layered dustressed paint effect. The transfer image catches my eye and is in keeping with the simple little piece of furniture. I have seen this technique before but seeing it done by different artists gets me more inspired to try it myself. Bad thing is I don't have a laser printer but it may be worth investing in one to have this kind of fun and wonderful results. I enjoyed watching and thank you for sharing your knowlege of techniques.

THANK YOU FOR THIS VIDEO! Another EXCELLENT Resource of info and products: Annie Sloan youtube channel and her amazing Brand of chalk paint/ products ❤ (ANNIE SHOWS AND SAYS NO SANDING NECESSARY 🤗) I use DAP - KWIK SEAL, its adhesive caulk; to fill in any deep cracks in very distressed wood furniture. Simply fill in cracks or divets, scraping off excess with flat hard tool, Reapply & scrape/smooth over as needed. Then use a mild soap(dish soap) and wet Soft sponge to firmly wash off whatever is left on the surrounding surface. And Wipe dry. Masterpiece🤌😎

Thanks for your very helpful video. I'm about to do my kitchen and wondered about the wax as I love using it over the oil on my chopping boards. Can't wait to try wax over the chalk paint. I bet it feels silky. Looks great what you've done there.

Thank you for this video. I am still learning about chalk paint. I used Annie Sloan chalk paint, and then used dark wax BEFORE I used any white wax. I ruined the paint job and have to sand the piece down and start again!! Live and learn!!

You’re welcome, thanks for watching. It’s an easy mistake to make and I’m sorry to hear you had to sand it all off. I hope you’re still enjoying chalk painting! 😊

Hello, thank you for a very informative tutorial on painting laminate. I'm planning a makeover on my laminate kitchen cabinates. What type of top coat should I use in that this is a high traffic area or, is this a bad idea? I'd love your thoughts, suggestions and, tips.

Great tutorial! I have an old patio set, made of metal. It's peeling in some areas, do I have to sand the peeling areas first?
@plainjane.paints6 ай бұрын
You will need to remove the peeling paint. If you paint over an unstable surface like peeling paint then the next layer can’t adhere properly. Scrape off the peeling paint and sand the area smooth before painting 👍😊
