I use 1/4 cup of coffee grounds. If I'm particularly dragging, it's a heaping 1/4 cup :)

I love percolated coffee, so good! I have stove top percolators for home and cqmping but I have wanted an electric one. Thanks for the video, I think you sold me! I like the glass lid and the base. Great ideas.

Thank you for this review. I love mine! Those filters also have perforated holes at each corner so that you can slide the corners onto the stem, more securely encapsulating the coffee grounds.

I used .5 cup of coffee + 3.75 cups of water. My perfect brew combo!

Will it just keep percolator until it's shut off?

No. Once percolation is complete it remains in a warming mode until you shut off the unit.

Is the percolator knob removable? I have the Gourmet Elite 12 cup and the lid is a nightmare,when you put it on the knob pops out. Looking for one that has a lid with no removable parts
