I use this under my belly where I get rashes I dump a tiny bit in my hand rub it on and then let it sit 10 seconds and then rinse it off. It burns if I let the rash get bad. I used it direct on my skin. I also used this to treat head lice once when our family got it. Let it sit for 1 hour then washed off all lice died then conditioned and Rand the nit comb in it. Worked better then the over the counter stuff
