By doing them, do you mean filling them in with makeup or plucking them? Either way - there are no musts! Just try it out and see how you feel! When putting makeup on your eyes (or lips) they will naturally become more in focus, so if you feel like it looks unbalanced maybe try putting some of the shadow in your brows aswell to darken them! Otherwise, a clear brow gel is always nice just to keep them in place. If you meant plucking; it will usually give a more lifted look and a bit more space to play with your eyeshadow. Maybe try a brow razor instead of tweezers if you aren't sure (hurts a lot less and grows out quicker) :)

I think using more cool tones (either cool browns or gray) smoked out with a pop of silver on the lid would be really pretty! Maybe you could incorporate the pink from the dress in your lip color or blush as well 😊

Thank you! 🥰🩷 It was the Sephora collection waterproof eyeliner pencil in black lace, really creamy and stayed on all day. However they have reformulated it since I’ve used it and I haven’t tried the newer version. But I have no doubts that it’s probably still great, it looks like it still gets good reviews on their website! If you want another recommendation my favorite at the moment is the mac color excess gel liner, one of the creamiest most pigmented pencils I’ve tried 💗

Thank you, I'm so happy that it was helpful!💕 What is DM and CM? A great palette that I just tried in store and highly recommend is the new Anastasia Beverly Hills eyeshadow palette, the Sultry mini. It has all the same colors that I used in the video (plus many more) and the quality is amazing! The shadows are super pigmented and creamy.

They've been discontinued unfortunately, but any shadows/any colors will work just following the same principle! I had a look if I could find any palettes I thought looked nice though and Colourpops bare necessities or stone cold fox both look amazing (one is more neutral/warm and the other is cool toned depending on what you like). Juvia's place nubian earth looks nice if you'd like a somewhat smaller palette (it's a bit more neutral/warm toned), I really like smashbox's minimalist palette as well (has one neutral/warm side and one cool toned) ☺

@iselacerritos8183 I just saw the new ABH mini sultry palette and it looks to have almost identical colors to the ones I used in this video!

Hi! I used the sephora waterproof kohl pencil, I believe it’s since been discontinued and replaced though. At the moment I’m really loving the mac color excess gel pencil, which from what you’ve expressed I feel like it (or something similar) may be a good fit for you too. It’s a retractable gel pen so it’s super creamy, pigmented and easy to apply, and it’s waterproof too so it stays put! I don’t know if I have any revolutionary tips, but try tilting your head slightly down (keep your eyes looking straight ahead) and use a smaller handheld mirror to get a close up view of what you’re doing. You can use a finger to lightly pull/press down your lower eyelid if need be, but be very careful to not pull too much or too hard on the skin! Using a very creamy pen that deposits the color easily will make all the difference as well. Hope this was somewhat helpful! 😊💕

Do you know your eye shape? The most common problem is trying to apply shadow in a way that’s not most flattering for your eye shape. Eye shadow techniques can differ a lot for different eye shapes, and finding a way that’s better suited for your features can be a total game changer. The way I apply it in this video is more of a basic template for what will suit most (but definitely not all!) people, but I always advise everyone to tweak and perfect the application to better suit them individually. If you feel like the problem is more about it looking to harsh maybe look over the shades your using, or try to apply less and slowly build up the intensity. I always say that the easiest way to apply eyeshadow is to add little by little until you reach the intensity you want. If you apply too much and then try to blend it away it will most likely end up looking muddy! If you’re having trouble with the shadows not showing up fully, a primer will help. This will also increase the longevity and prevent creasing during the day. I hope I could help you somewhat with that answer!
