If I did this my friend can join the server anytime even if I’m not playing ? + there’s is no host name ?

@@im_soma753 No, you need a “dedicated” server for them to join anytime you’re on or not AND to disable the tether, although on pc you can set the distance higher you’ll still need to be somewhat close. Non-dedicated means you have to be on when the host is on if you want to play on that server with them though

Hey man so my son and I been playing non dedicated server he is on x box myself on pc. He is the host. I have ultimate game pass. Everything was fine until someone joined our ark and griefed us. I told my kid to log out and we check the private server option and now I can not join anymore. It says I am not allowed private session when he tries to invite me. When I try to join I can not see the server in the list. Thank you for any help in advance. Mick and Dom

Hey Mike, I'm sorry that happened to you! It's possible the settings changed after selecting private server, make sure "crossplay" is enabled, also the "allow friends to join" needs to be enabled. Since he's on Xbox, I believe he can set in his privacy settings also to only allow friends to join, and the last thing I can think of is to add a password and see if that helps! I'm still down to figure it out if nothing helps, please let me know and I wish you luck!

I hosted a game spent all day playing then left when I try to find it it says no sessions found I’ve changed the filters to everything you could imagine and typed the name exactly why is this game always so shit

If you hosted a game, you should host again on the map you chose, if you're looking for a map with a certain name then you're joining somebody else's but if you're hosting it should just be the world you start, hope this helps!
