So this is actually the car's health and not Mrs. Dawson's health. That means we can complete the mission just by destroying her car, even if she gets out and starts to run. Only need to keep up with her and stay close.

I think the way this mission works is that the car has a simple 'Destroy the vehicle' objective script to it but without a marker on it, but just placed on Mrs. Dawson as techicly the car is the main objective and the NPC is not of importance. I guess you can kill her and nothing would happen. I think you would fail if you used a gun on the car as it's called a fail condition. R* was not anticipating people managing to get Mrs. Dawson out of the car.

This mission is very easy. I'd use the same route as you but branch to starfish island and head to the mainland. Drive north towards the Mall and by the time the bomb is defused you'll be en route to Lovefist's location. Also there is no need to drive so fast; as long as the bar is not filling up there is no problem. You got very lucky at 0:20

just destroy the car, and while it burns, jump out of it on the fly, so Tommy will roll on the floor, but car would drive not far away on itself of Mrs.Dawson location
