So were you able to paddle all the way from Frost to Octopus lake? You didn’t take the 139 out of Frost? If so, we’re you able to paddle or did you have to walk your canoe through? I can’t image what is possible this year (2022) with the very high water.

I believe so, it's been a bit, and I can't recall the details, but pretty sure I was able to float through.

That was awesome! I've solo tripped the frost many times. On 2 different occasions I was behind tandon boats that would not allow me to pass. Both those groups took the wrong portage into Bolonga and I got around them. One of those groups we shared the camp at Afton with and had a great time. The other pair, 2 gals, I ran into on my 2nd load from Chase. One was furious, even after I told them since they were first on the river that morning I would not take the Afton camp. I got out of there quick as I realized the furious woman was my ex - common law wife from college days, LOL. What are the odds? Thanks, hope you make more vids.

Great video, I got lost by Pencil too. Got lucky and decided to take lunch on the south side and stumbled on it. Every map, and my gps, shows it on the north side. Good job with the small pack, love to see a gear video.
