Hi. Thanks for posting. It really helped. Only issue is that ATAK says no gps signal. I have gps testing software on my device. I can see that my device is getting a gps signal and it is working with other apps, just not working with ATAK. Any thoughts why this might be happening?

We are uncertain right now why that issue is happening in iTAK, but after a restart of the app, data sync seems to work without issue.

Thank you very much,Sir for your video. I am an EFL teacher planning to teach my students how to use the ATAK app. I would like to know if there is a simple and fast way to connect all their devices to the server simultaneously, and provide them with the necessary maps, rather than configuring each one individually.I do not own a server.I am using the free seats from ArgusTak,ZeroTier.

iTAK doesn't appear to sync automatically, and I'm unable to find an option to adjust the sync interval. When a user on ATAK adds a marker, it immediately appears on both iTAK and ATAK. However, if the marker is deleted from ATAK, it remains on iTAK, although it disappears from ATAK and the feed. Manually resyncing with the feed removes the marker from iTAK. Is there a more efficient workaround for this issue? Also, it doesn't look like markers placed on iTAK are sent to the feed.

Yes It's allowed. It's in the playstore. If it was not allowed it would be removed. It's just a map tool with some handy tools nothing shady. Has many use cases. Altho the online maps for EU are very dated and not google maps quality. If you want high rez maps you gotta make your own offline.

The COTAK and WFTAK servers are dedicated to the use of government first responders only. Check out TAK.gov for info on how you may implement TAK on your own.

Is there a way to record your own track, create a perimeter from the track, and determine the acers within the perimeter?

We are looking to add that functionality as a future enhancement. If you have a rough estimate of where the perimeter is, you could use the draw tool to create a shape which will give you area in square miles and perimeter in miles. If you have access to ATAK, you could use the breadcrumb tool to track your location and similarly draw a shape that follows those breadcrumb markers.

COTAK and WFTAK are not for civilian use. We open our tutorials to the public to add to the TAK community. However, we do not have the capabilities to support civilian implementations of TAK. Thanks for the comment!
