I have one that is one year older, but looks 50 years older than this one. Mine has the perfect patina and is a daily driver for work, yours belongs in a museum. Beautiful man.

I had a CB160 50+ years ago, did about 40k miles. No 160 should sound that rough. Something is not quite right.

The engine sounds like it is knocking. Not sure what engine is in there. Doesnt sound like the standard 1000 or 1100 of the 59's.

Nice, would have loved to see the motor. The only thing I'd change is to get rid of those speakers in the back and complete the interior back to original.

@muffs55mercury61 Жыл бұрын
Sure sounds like it ! Most '56s were upgraded to the 292 . The old 272 stayed in trucks thru 1957. I believe the 312 was only in Fairlanes. Nice car he has.
@carlv81686 ай бұрын
@@muffs55mercury61 Could also be the base model inline 223 six, but hard to tell. The video didn't pan wide enough to the right (glove box door), where the Y-block V8 emblem is located (provided this car has the 292 engine). For a Custom line trim level, it's unusual to see a factory optional push-button radio and clock, so these must been ordered as options by the original owner or was built at the factory this way.

Makes me want to cry looking at this beauty. Can't believe how smooth it runs. Most old CB750's are in need of tlc when it comes to the engine. Had a '71 candy garnet brown one just like this one. Have 4 fairly new big bikes and they're fast, but still not as cool as these. I have 1 picture left of mine on the wall and dream of it almost every day.
