Great. If you do that at intervals to your out fall then subsoil slightly above with multiple feet subsoiler. I go the opposite way. Really moves some water. The drain is ok for about 5 years. Then you may need to it again.

Can we do the job without dismantling the turbo???

Thank you!! I can confirm that after an hour of trying and a lot of strength from 2 people this even worked on a really stiff Yale lock that was encased by tight ridges in the door frame. We ended up cutting up a large sturdy plastic screenwash bottle and that finally did the trick.

Just done this procedure on my bmc1500. Bypassed the old mechanical lift pump with a 12v low pressure fuel pump. Easy to bleed with constant pressure. Pumped clean fuel all the way to the injector pump, then cranked full throttle while watching for a nice clean spurt of fuel from the loosened injector nuts. That done, tighten everything up. Fired up nice. Thanks Sebastian.

My injector light was simply the connection on the injector number 3 and 4 .Solution was purchasing new connectors on internet only $ 4 each they are identical to Ivecos . Just cut and join with connectiors screw type typical electrical type or solider. The light plauged me off and on for months ,and tricked me changing the fuel pump & filter.

But the basic question is did it need brushes? (Probably not) - or did it just need a cleaning? Hit it with brake cleaner. The older models had 4 screws on the back and you could do a good cleaning otherwise - thru the ports with a straw. If you want to take it apart because you've got no other choice - these are by now (2024-1/2) worth $15 if they're working well. A set of brushes are more than that. Even if they're stinking and smoking if you can get to the stator without f'kg up your whole day - all you have to do is get the carbon out of the cracks - it's shorting there. Hopefully the brake cleaner will do a good enough job - expect 80%+. Happy day - you've got 4 screws to put back in. Go work.

Just done mine on a 2007 passat 1.9 tdi BXE. Getting the old joint off i wound the old bolt all the way in and popped the joint free, Wound most of the way in then put the car in first gear to stop the shaft rotating once I met resistance. Think you worked on my car in the past, the stretch bolt was way under torque lol.
