Hopefully he has the kind of parents that praised him for his accomplishments that day. True he got bumped out of position at the start, but addressing and increasing his speed on the track then moving up to take a position ahead of him when the cars were so evenly matched is quite a show of skill and determination. He didn't lose the race, he just ran out of time. I wish this young driver every success in the future.

Thank you! My parents are my biggest fans, who are proud no matter how I do. On the way home, we talk about what I took away from the race, things I can work on, and things I did great.

@@colepirklracing9574 You are indeed fortunate. From age 11 to 14 I was the starting pitcher for my team in the Khoury League near St. Louis, Mo. I had extraordinary talent for that age along with many accomplishments. Not so lucky on the home front with my father. I recall the drive home after pitching a "no-hitter" and all I could hear was what I had done wrong. At age 75 now, I can share with you that the support You are getting will shape your life and You never forget it. GOD Bless Your parents and Your tenacity to win. Good Luck young man.

It's a lot of fun. Small family run track. $10 to race. It's one of my favorite tracks.
