What’s the gucci foundation shade?

I do feel like with Unearthly and some of the other indie brands like Ensley Reign, we’re paying for all that damn packaging because they are all starting to use those massive cardboard boxes and foam inserts that are specific to each palette. I throw all of it away, I don’t even save the thin sleeve around the palette. On top of the rising palette prices, the shipping fees are exorbitant and they expect you to add on the Route shipping insurance as well, or good luck getting any service if it arrives damaged. The Route package protection has gone up to $5-$7 per order. On top of a $10-$13 shipping fee. It’s out of control in my opinion. Brands are all like “you can use a code for a discount” but that barely covers the shipping most of the time.

Happy New Year … I forgot to ask what shade are you in the pat mcgrath concealer ? I’m 45 I was wondering what is the difference between the Natasha denona by glam concealer and the pat mcgrath .. I want to purchase one but not sure which . My skin is normal but can get a bit of oily. My undereyes is fine with eye cream . Thanks

The packaging is unnecessary. I’d rather have cheaper shipping than fancy boxes that the palettes are shipped in. I have this same suggestion for Adept & Ensley Reign; just package it well with bubble wrap. I agree with all points made here. Great video! I’ve just subscribed & look forward to more!

I actually love Unearthly cosmetics, their reformulation is amazing. I have a lot of their new palettes, and I even bought the neutral Sorcerers smoke palette and I’m in love with it. I’ve tried the old formula and wasn’t impressed with them, but the new formula is amazing, and I basically am always interested in their palettes. I do however think that all KZbinrs and influencers that glorify Odens eye are mostly lying. I have tried at least 3 of their palettes, and I hate them. I don’t get how people can say this is good formula, this is overpriced Colourpop in my opinion.

Beautiful looks! I had the same.experience with customer service on 2 of.my preorders. The Gargoyle and this palette. I ordered the 1st day it went on preorder, and i just received it last week. I emailed several times and it took 7 days for a reply twice for this particular release and 10 days for a response on my questions about the Gargolye palette. Shipping on both took 3 weeks longer than promised. My Gargoyle palette order, i believe was lost. Several people who ordered after the preorder received their palettes before I did. I emailed the brand several times and responses took a week or more. Amanda is sweet, but she really needs to hire a full time person to respond to emails in a timely manner, and she also needs to work on the shipping in her warehouse. If you preorder, then your order should be sent first before the regular launch. That's just my opinion. Their customer service and shipping time is terrible. I dont know what's going on, but a lot of people are having issues with customer service with this brand. I also think they should get rid of the cute outer packaging in order to save the customers some money. I myself throw the boxes away. It just takes up unneeded space. Cosmic brushes has nice packaging and product is alot more affordable and their formula is very comparable to UE. I agree on all your points. I do love UE colorstories and formulas. If only they cld fix customer service, shipping and warehouse issues, and find a way to lower prices a bit.

What shade did you use? I got a sample and it did seem to dry before you could fully spread it on your face. Does it stay dry on the face?

I like the duos (I have 2) in isolation. They are lovely. But they are so finely milled you have to use angles and lighting to get that effect in promos. I will use the 2 I have but I will not buy more.

How funny!! You’ve basically just said more or less the same kind of things that I’ve been saying lol!! All the average consumer really needs to take into consideration are: do I like how it looks and performs on me? How much does it cost? And am I happy with the overall thing? Where it’s constructed, how it’s been created are kind of irrelevant, unless children or anyone for that matter, being harmed in the manufacturing of the product…if that’s a yes then I’m not interested and have less than zero interest in supporting any of that!! Sometimes these beauty ‘gurus’ are prone to spout untimely meaningless nonsense purely to make themselves sound more ‘informed’ and thus more ‘important’ than the average purchaser/ wearer of whatever the product is, and none of which is of the slightest value for said purchaser!! It’s not like you’re buying apparel for traversing the van allen belt!! 🙄 In this case it’s a highlighter, not a new kidney!! Thank you so much for some much needed and appreciated clarity around this ridiculous issue!! 🌟

yeah the wash of glitter looks good with a strong color lip which is in this season, so the old highlighters are definitely gonna get used up this year.

Actually, glitters are not safe. There are many people who experienced some harm when glitter fell into their eyes. Glitter is a rough plastic particle, which can do physical damage to the eyes. That's why some people (me included) are against glitters. Not everything they tell you is safe is really safe.

I watched people swatching those and they looked underwhelming. If you want eyeshadows that will make you sparkle from miles away, check indie brands, especially if you live in the US. I saw raving reviews from Clionadh and Terra Moons (I haven't tested them yet because I live in Europe). The most expensive ones are about 20 dollars each, but you can always get great deals on their anniversary sales (and maybe black Friday). I could also mention Adept (but they only do palettes) who's been known for years for their shimmer formula (not surprising to see them throw shade at Patrick Ta 😅) For Europeans, Glamshop is the best quality-price ratio you will find. It's even more interesting during sales (I got multichomes for less than 9-10 dollars and sparkly eyeshadows (turbo pigments formula) for maybe 4-5 dollars. Lethal is also great but I can't think of a shade that can be an alternative.

I agree with you! I really love HB big eyeshadow palettes, but I won’t pay full price this time. Also I won’t get anything from Patrick Ta . My only palette from him got moldy, not even a year of use.. I I post a video regarding that matter on my TikTok and yeah, it’s just ridiculous. The amount of people that I find out have issues with their palette too. I feel like the beauty industry it’s not innovating anymore. I felt like kind of bored with lots of the eyeshadow releases, cause I’m at a eyeshadow, palette junkie, and I barely buy any makeup as much as I used to years ago.. thanks for the video.

If you're petty, I guess I'm petty too. I don't like to hop on the train and buy something because everyone has it. I don't want to get influenced to get something I'm not liking myself first (that's how I end up regretting buying in the first place). I almost don't trust 90% of creators because I know a lot of them got the product in PR or hope to get on the good graces of a brand, so they give great reviews for a meh product at best 🤷‍♀️😅

great review. I thinks its still one of the best releases of 2024, I used my husbands email to get 20 % off her website, I wouldn't pay full price, but I'm a one shadow girl, and this does the job.

Great collection! I have been wanting to try these out for a while now... but the individual eyeshadows are quite expensive and then add shipping + taxes...
