I totally agree with your analysis on makeup nowadays. I haven’t been engaged much in KZbin makeup people. I am a bargain shopper and I refuse to pay full price on makeup lol. I would only buy if things are on sale and if the shipping is insane I don’t click ‘Purchase’. I also see the same color themes on many of new releases so I skip it.

P. Louise is on my Not list for the owner using racist words. Rather than repenting when confronted, the owner basically said she can use the N word “because she’s friends with people of color” . Not cool. Smaller secondary reason? Her palette packaging is obnoxiously huge!

So this year was the first time i had heard of Odens eye and i bought the trick or treat palette. I was amazed at how top notch the eyeshadow quality was, especially the shimmers. Im waiting for the Christmas Eve palette and im gonna buy that when its released again

I have tried MANY brands and I have an opinion on most. Odens eye, however, has never disappointed me to this date. I believe I own 5 palettes from them. My recent favorite is the green palette from the recent trio collab. It has the most stunning shimmer, I literally am obsessed with it. The only thing Odens Eye is missing is an afterpay/Klarna/shoppay option. These sets are expensive and it would be nice if they paired with one of those services.
