hello! In my opinion yes, they are suitable without a sub. the speakers have a lot of bass and are easy to drive. I don't need a sub, but if you prefer.

​@@robertkonik68 witam i dziękuję za komentarz . R700 to fajne kolumny z bas reflex umiejscowionym w podłogę. Niestety nie słyszałem ich na żywo. Zauważyłem że minimalna impedancja to 3.6 ohm. Zorientuj się ile omów mają faktycznie. Moje kef w instrukcji mają 8ohm i tak podłączyłem do marantz ale po pewnym czasie marantz zaczął się wyłączać, zabezpieczenie. Oddałem go do serwisu, sprawdzili i powiedzieli że jest w porządku. Zacząłem szukać przyczyny w kef ,co się okazało są to kolumny 4ohm a nie 8ohm,jak podaje producent, ustawiłem 4 0hm w sr7015 i od tamtej pory ani razu się nie wyłączył. Dlatego sprawdz impedancje glosnikow i ustaw odpowiednią w marantz . Pozdrawiam i udanych zakupów. Ja jestem zadowolony z kef

Cześć Szymek. Jesteś następnym fachowcem od aranżacji wnętrz i z absolutnym słuchem. Nie myśl że jestem zly 😂. Nie byłeś u mnie i nie słyszałeś na żywo więc jak możesz to ocenić. Ważne że mi się to ustawienie podoba i przedewszystkim dzwiek, a byłem w studio odsłuchowym u nas w mieście i nie wyczułem żeby choć odrobinę był lepszy dźwięk. Dałeś się złapać w pułapkę marketingu. Lewa kolumna stoi tak blisko ściany, że to co słyszysz to w większości dźwięk odbity od tej ściany i okna :D nie dałem się złapać w pułapkę marketingu tylko wyraźnie słyszę różnice w tym gdy wsuwam swoje kolumny w kąt, a kiedy je wyciągam. Za każdym razem gdy kolumna stoi dalej od tylnej ściany oraz bocznej, ogromnej poprawię ulega jakość dźwięku i scena muzyczna. Wynika to z prostych praw fizyki, a nie marketingu. Nie traktuj mojego komentarza jako krytykę tylko jako radę. Też mam podobne ustawienie jak Ty dlatego wiem jak to gra. Pozdrawiam

@@Szymek3392 witam. Odstawiałem kolumny już od ścian, moje wrażenie jest takie że gdy były wysunięte do przodu i osuniete od ściany bocznej to jakosc dzwieku pogarszała się. Scena stała się bardzo wąska i stereo się pogorszyło. Ta konfiguracja jaka mam teraz, najbardziej trafia w moje ucho. Glosniki są odstawione od tylnej sciany około 50cm i wizualnie i pod względem jakości najbardziej mi to odpowiada. Pozdrawiam! Miłej niedzieli

hello these settings may apply to kef r series or reference, which have ports on the back. my speakers are from the q series which have two abr transducers on the front and do not have to be placed away from the wall. few people have such large living rooms, mine is 20m2. I also do not hear any rumbling, the sound is really pleasant

@@rafalfaryniuk They are not 'aba' they are 'abr' as in radiators. Kefs ridiculous marketing team describes common passive radiators as "front firing auxiliary bass radiators". Lol....... Of course it's not our home, however if we are to include Rafal Faryniuk as an Audiophile Hobbyist whose end game is uncompromised record playback then pointing out areas of necessary improvements possible with an existing system is what we should be doing and should never be taken defensibly as criticism but instead as welcomed assistance from a supportive community. Absolutely everything between those KEFs should be removed (the TV too if possible) and replaced with some type of treatment. There are only two channels that have addressed this poor arrangement directly; Paul at PS Audio and the 'Acoustic Fields' guy. I personally have chosen smallish, memory-foam filled, beanbag chairs. They are dual use, easy to move around and easy to move out of sight. Put all the gear on that left side wall, back near the seating on easy to reach waist high sturdy shelving instead of ankle height HiFi racks. Acid Jazz, Funk & Brass 🔈🔉🔊

I believe you mean "dissatisfied"? By the way external amplification is not about "boosting" the signal, it is just about "amplicating" the signal so you get more control of the speakers. Depending on the speakers and the room it can make a difference regarding sound quality! How can yo make a comment about how the Sabre DAC sounds based on this video?

'M-DAX to funkcja ulepszająca w naszych AV i AVR, która umożliwia zwiększenie jakości skompresowanych sygnałów audio. Oferuje trzy różne opcje w zależności od poziomu wymaganego ulepszenia. Można ją znaleźć w menu (GUI) w obszarze Audio.

Hi and thanks for your comment. Yes for me wiim sound is warmer-better . internal dac are different . Marantz uses pcm5100a and 'wiim ES9038Q2M - which is better dac' . this is my opinion . thanks

when you connect wiim to marantz via caoxial then the marantz dac will be used and when via rca then the wiim dac will be used. music is like food, for example scrambled eggs taste different to each person

@@nekerrivera Hi, I have a Wiim connected with 2 cables - RCA 'analog' and CAOX 'digital' to the DVD input in the Marantz. In the Wiim application, you can quickly change the input from RCA to CAOX. Personally, I don't think there is a huge difference in quality between the Wiim and the built-in HEOS MARANTZ.

@@nickh6180 Hi Nick! Yes you can through Marantz streaming, there is an internal PCM5100A dac. 'It should be akm4458dac' but I won't go into detail, it's a cheaper replacement. Marantz has built-in HEOS. The audio quality is really good but in WiiM ultra the ES9038Q2M dac is used and you can hear the difference especially in hi res audio 24bit 192khz. In 16bit 44.1khz it's imperceptible, at least for me. Wiim ultra is connected via caox. cable and rca cable to marantz. you can quickly check this by changing the source in WiiM. when the source is caox, then the marantz dac is used. and via RCA the external WiiM dac.
