Good video! I dont want to send mine in because they will want to update it and I will loose features. Two questions, Mine has a couple of what look like security screws in the back, really odd looking heads on them, maybe I could just wedge something in the hole and get them out. Also where did you get the battery? Odd that it was completely dead, a quick update stating that the customer had charged it and it worked would be re-assuring. Thanks for the helpful video.

i use standard sticky back gaskets for back glass never tried b7000 as I think this will be difficult to remove for the next repair what's your experience of removing back glass with b7000 as opposed to sticky gasket is this difficult?

What's the difference between OLED and LCD?

Oled uses less battery and you can have fingerprint through it but you get screen burn and black dots seem to appear on most screens

brilliant insight on my note 10 reconnected the connection to the wireless coil save me money. Thankyou but used a hair dryer with 2 credit cards much safer

Did you follow the calibration process? I read some cheap aftermarket screens don't have working sensors, but it may be folk didn't know they had to recalibrate with a new sensor

I get no low warning signal at all replaced the coil and 5 days later new coil don't work any suggestions?

if you have dropped it may be a bad connection, follow the video but use credit cards and a hair dryer with a small suction cup lift the side not with the camera and put the 1 card in leave it in then use the other to go round the phone easy and simple. reconnect after removing screws if that don't work it the coil, don't cost much

How much editing do you do on screen removal? Also when you put the screws back in how do you get them to stay on the tip of the driver? I would get them going to hole the magnetic screwdriver would change alignment. Any suggestions there? 😊

I do no editing whatsoever that way you can see the mistakes if any are made. A lot of videos you see will be edited to make everything look perfect and seamless but they cut out vital information. As far as getting the screws to stay at the tip I just magnetize my bits or my screwdrivers. On my electric screwdriver I have a small magnet that stays attached to it. I hope that helps

It is not a 13. The cable on the battery was bent not allowing me to connect it properly that's why I suspected it was a different phone. If you watch the little further you would see that I didn't get the battery connected properly because it is an iPhone 12 Pro Max. IPhone 13 connects at the bottom of the L

Is a new adhesive unnecessary?

I have been working on phones for over a decade and I've had people get water in their phone with or without the seal. Does it help, sort of because at the factory that adhesive is applied wet and hot and it molds to the frame and the screen whereas peeling it off of a piece of plastic even if heated it's just not the same. You will never get a waterproof phone not from the factory. I hope that helps

That's why I do what I do because it is a tedious and complicated job. I absolutely love it though

This is a good guide, but you forgot to put the connector plate back on. Yeah the small screws are a pain, but if the phone gets a jolt from a drop the chances of one of those connectors coming loose is greater. So make sure you all watching put on that plate again. Also this phone is no longer water resistant. Some kits have gaskets that reseal the display to the frame.

Perhaps you just didn't watch the entire video? 25:19 I put the plate in and reminded people to do so. Also those adhesive kits do absolutely nothing for waterproofing and they are pointless.
