This is a sweet moment but the pilot reveals that they only went on three dates before he proposed to her. What you mean I guess if you know you have the one great, but I don't think that's a good practice to keep.

I remember I used to watch the series and think "Having a husband like Carlos must be awesome!"... Today, I'm married to a man who is exactly like Carlos, minus the criminal record. Gabby and him will always be one of my favorite straight couples in TV series.

When he see the empty closet of all the things she sold and sacrificed for the family that was like the best scene in the show they both had amazing character development

Yes,We get so few of them ❤ My collegue (37) committed a suicide this year. She had 2 wonderful small children and a husband. We had no idea that she had problems, it was absolutely devastating for us. It makes you think . Could i have done/ said something differently? Could i have helped her/ relieved her pain? Then 4 months later my neigbor jumped out of his window when we were cooking in the kitchen. He was 30. He was still alive when we rushed to his rescue. I don’t think i will ever get this picture out of my head. I just wish someone could have helped them. But as alice said, we can not prevent what we can not predict. Poor souls💔

One of my favorite moments between Gaby and Carlos took place after he regained his eyesight and saw how much clothing and jewelry Gaby had sacrificed to keep their family afloat. He knew that she had pawned some of his own things without telling him and completely forgave her.

if you think about it, it is even more depressing because she was the face of someone who had it all together and considering that they didn't know a single thing about "her past", it makes it even more heartbreaking the fact that to them it would seem like she took her life tragically and without much thought. I would definitely feel like this and more if my friend took their life.

Carlos had the best character development in the series!! He was selfish, ruthless , calculated and controlling until he went to prison. When he got out we saw non stop growth and reflection. He’s constantly talking about doing the right thing and trying to be a good person. He’s husband goals, whatta man!

husband goal? no he’s not and on top of that he had some pretty terrible moments once right after he recovered… season 6 carlos dealing with Lynette’s pregnancy? the way her forced Gaby to homeschool Juanita herself ? all the yelling? he’s probably better than many other men on that show but he doesn’t deserve to be praised like that

This scene hits me every time. On my 25th I was out celebrating, I got a text from my friend. It said “I can’t go on, phone me” but caught up in the excitement of celebrating, I misread it as “I can’t go out, phone me”. I thought he was telling me he won’t be able to come out with us. later I got another text it just said “I’m sorry” Again I thought he was just apologising that he could not make it out that night. When I read this, I replied back just letting him know it was fine, he didn’t need to worry. It’s probably not difficult to work out what happened, but unfortunately yes he had taken his life that morning. It kills me to think about that night, it feels like not a day goes by when I don’t think it. I replay it over and over and I hate myself for not taking just a few seconds to read it properly and even more so for not replying to his first message. Just like this scene, I often play out that moment and wish I could just go back and change everything, I could have saved him but instead I failed him. When watching this, the part that breaks me is when she says “Enjoy this wonderful day, we get so few of them”. It’s true.
@bernardomello8422 жыл бұрын
I'm sorry for your loss. I have too been affected by a loved one's suicide. My aunt killed herself and, from what I could gather, in the last conversations she had with people she expressed how lonely she was, how she felt nobody loved her. But I did, I loved her a lot. But we get so caught up in life. It's no excuse. I should've called her more often, I should've been more present. Maybe, just maybe, she would still be alive. But as the scene shows us, there's no point in punishing myself for not being able to 'save' her. I can only, in her memory, make life more meaningful and enjoy its beautiful days.
@Robertiena Жыл бұрын
You may not believe in such things, but our subconscious controls what we consciously do during our days, and we are all connected by it. Once your friend had decided their life is over to such degree that it got imprinted on their subconscious mind, nothing could have been done, all actions taken by them and everyone else would have lead to this exact outcome. This is why your mind made you misread the message, the suicide was set in motion way before the text was sent, so there is nothing you could've done that day which would change the outcome. I am sorry for your loss
