Most likely called “books made”- only 9 of 13 books called and if you don’t track the bags you wouldn’t play out such a low total bid hand. Each team is credited for the book they called

He was kind of right, but not. You shouldn’t have went to spades immediately and definitely shouldn’t have played a two because anything can top that. You should’ve threw your single club out to which ur partner had the ace. Then cut clubs up because they had a lot of that suit! You might not have set them but the trajectory of the game could’ve been way different. He shouldn’t have come back to spades, yall should’ve played on their club weakness.

yes he should have went to spades immediately. he could led the single club, but at that time he didn't know who was strong or not in clubs. only mistake was his p coming back to hearts, as is rightly called out here

5 for sure! Reasoning: you only had 5 hearts and there is 13 of each suit which meeans that your opponents easily had 2 or more hearts in their hand so the Ace and King wouldve walked.

@@KingBillz13 So many new rules nowadays hard to keep up. Rules I was taught ; no first-hand bids itself So first-hand set it's game, back to back sets, and three sets in a game is game: Wheels is 200, blind 7 is 140, blind six 120 also you could only go blind if you're 100 down Boston is game, undeclared Boston you lose so if I gave you all the books, double set so if you go four and I give you eight you lose and 10 bags go back a hundred and bags do carry over. This was my favorite one Man down So if you had one spade you were allowed to pass it to your partner and they would pass you a non-spade it was great for shortening your other suits for cuts. And the only way you can redeal is if it was a miss deal or you had no face cards

Way we play for money where I'm from if you bid dime first hand and you get it it's game and it's double if you lose in the hole...if you don't get it it's also game double money owed...two sticks is game and if dime after first hand is fifteen and spades don't have to be broke...renig is automatically loss of three books...bid 5 to 5 it's throw in and 6 to 4 bid throw in and we play to 35

So my confusion is the bag... I'm not understanding the whole "they tryna bag you out" thing. What you mean? Because that's the only way I be losing and I don't be understanding why when I got my books

Because you got more books than what you bid. Any books over what you bud are bags. There is a 10-bag penalty that takes away 100 points
