Every concession Israel makes us a victory for them, & every delay & ceasefire as well. By forcing Israel to give up the Philadelphi Corridor Sinwar will have an escape route into Egypt & he will drag Israeli hostages w him as human shields. If he gets into Egypt w the hostages, the hostages may wind up in Iran (how horrid would that be? wouldn't the Ayatollah love tormenting them to wreck emotional havoc on Israel?). If Israel withdraws the hostages may wind up in Egypt w Sinwar & Yaya might go into hiding more easily than when confined to tunnels in Gaza. Sin. War. Perfect name for the sob. I don't think Bibi has been the best of leaders, & neither do most Israelis, but most Israelis are w him in defeating Hamas & in saying no to negotiations. I come to this conclusion by listening to Israelis. They don't want to stop now & they say there isn't anyone to replace Bibi & they can't fuss w replacing him now.
