Just curious but, why can’t you just flip the axle to the top of the leaf springs without a lift kit (like all the others’ I’ve seen on KZbin)? Does it just give it a little more lift/height?
@LostTravels
@LostTravels 2 ай бұрын
@@artest7 because the axle actually aren’t perfectly straight, they have a slight downward curve, ( you could easily look up a picture) besides that, the mounting point of which holds them to the leaf springs would need to be cut off and re-welded as well. This kit requires none of that,

So how do get that campsite for free?? Loyalsock SF charges $10 a night for roadside sites. The site you were at is on Shanersburg rd. And the 1st spot was correct. Site reservation says driveway is 154 foot from road to wheelstop, NOT drive back farther!! Please read the rules, this is why we lose places like this.
@LostTravels
@LostTravels 4 ай бұрын
Rules have changed,yes you pay 10.00 permit fee now. trying to blame me for others losing campsites is ludicrous.. I’m local to Pennsylvania, I always camp in this area, and I always leave with trash and debris from every one else. And it should be noted that when camping here dcnr has a record of who stayed there, so I’m sure if there was an issue I would’ve been notified.. I was there for a week

In the first minute of the vid where Jack? goes around end of barrier I thought he was a young turkey. He looked just like a waddling running immature turkey! 🤣 His upright tail was the turkey's neck/head. Hard to see the turkey now that I see it's Jack. Nice vid. Nice you pointed out the trailhead and location of trail

@@LostTravels 🤣🤣🤣 thanks for clarifying and nice to know the 2 are close together. If you're in sw V sometime, somewhere around Pearisburg there is a great short hike up a gorge to an awesome swimming hole at the base of falls. I'm sorry I can't be more specific, it's been several years since I was there and I don't remember how I found it because it was before I used "All Trails" app. Maybe just googled hikes or waterfalls. I was staying at a friend's near Blacksburg but she didn't tell me about it. Anyway, I love swimming holes and this is one I'd like to return to with a picnic lunch to hangout longer. I think there was a road or RR track above falls so may be an easier access. I "think" it is only 3 miles round trip. Worth checking out if in the vicinity sometime.

free camping in florida!!! hard to find. Ocala national Forrest and wherever this is?! Finding paid spots is difficult. Timing is important. I've heard that the snowbirds vacate the state around tax time. If you hurry you can get there before spring break invasion, then there's summer, but really/ summer is no time to camp in Florida.

The weed at the beginning of the video looks like Mullein, which is sometimes called "cowboy toilet paper", and many believe that it can be used to help with Asthma, congestion, and other respiratory problems. It grows like crazy in disturbed soil near new construction sites and roads, and it only develops the central flowered stalk in the second year. I've also read that the central stalk can be dipped in tallow and lit like a torch (they can grow a lot bigger than the one you saw).
