I would not live in EU . They believe is the best country in the world but they don’t have Health Insurance free. In Europe everybody is entitled to free treatment. This is a must. It should be free for everybody

President Ronald Reagan had fired Qualified Air Traffic Controllers who threatened a strike if work conditions for them were not improved. Reagan was more interested in money and image as a strong man to give little thought to the justification of allowing air traffic controllers ample rest off duty and more assistance while on duty. Had this not been the case things may have gone different. and rushing flights in and out would not have been an issue.

Why the crap would they make the plane start falling apart and doing stupid stuff before it even crashed? Why over dramatize something that was already dramatic enough?
@frankhardin81243 күн бұрын
This Movie is SO BAD they show a DC 9 crashing instead of the 737 it was in reality.

I remember this. Was in the Navy and stationed at PSD Crystal City on the other side of the river from the airport. I had friends calling to make sure I wasn’t on the plane cause they knew that I went home on leave that time of the year. I was outside waiting on the shuttle bus and heard something but didn’t know what had happened until I got back to base and saw the news.

This was the best of America and the worst. The generous spirit of the American people, and the lack of universal healthcare. The United States has the highest mortality rate than any economically comparable nation. There are solid reasons for this. The US has the highest maternal mortality than any developed country in the world. When this became known, America was naturally embarrassed, and studies were conducted to discover the cause. The cause is obvious. In the developed 21st century West, there is no need for any woman to fail to survive pregnancy and childbirth. The reason is the lack of universal healthcare. Many American women couldn't afford the crucial monitoring of pregnancy that prevents infant and maternal mortality. In countries like the UK, which have an excellent National Health Service (NHS), the jackles swoop to try to see it privitised so the cash and grab can begin. Consequently, the mefia manages to convince people that you have long waiting lists, etc. There are problems of poor bureaucratic management, arrogant doctors, and lazy nurses, but those exist everywhere. America needs a National Health Service.

@ Without having complete information I can only tell you is what I have heard on the news so far. The helicopter was on a training flight for black ops and had two critical safety devices turned off because of its proximity to the airport. It also reported having the airliner in sight, which meant it alone was required to maintain a safe distance. See and be seen is the operational phrase. The airliner was exactly where it was supposed to be doing exactly what it was supposed to be doing. I have flown that arrival and departure, countless times. The helicopter and the airliner were on different radio frequencies and that tower is short staffed. The helicopter may not have been properly lit, navigation lights, landing lights, etc. So far it’s not looking good for the helicopter pilot in command.

@ The engines were fished out of the water and stored in a Piedmont hanger for inspection. I was still flying the same same trip so my copilot and I took a walk over to the hanger and looked at the engines. I noticed that the anti-ice valves were closed. This is why they got strange readings from the engine instruments. However, they still could’ve saved it if they just shoved thethrottle up. There were multiple errors made that day.
