Amazing. 🔥 Triplets on triplets (0:34) was something else. 😊Maybe you can play the start of the last roll (0:49) a little bit softer to really bring out the volume rise. ☺ But again, amazing. 😊

I think that it could flow a little better, although that's the fun of improv; you don't know what's next. Nice playing man.

very cool! I think you'd benefit from a more evident swing in your playing. The truly great jazz drummers (all jazz players, really) were able to switch between straight eighth/sixteenth feel into swing. It's a great contrast. Dynamics are also quite useful for all of us. Also, if you're ever playing a gig (especially with a smaller group) it's best to tune up a bit. Look up "bop tuning" to hear what I mean.

Gotta love all the unsolicited advice. Been drumming 25+ years. It is ok to just enjoy the kid’s progress

Tuning up the kit isn’t for everyone. For me it makes the kit sound more melodic and it’s really satisfying to play on. I’m only 15 though
