You may start by playing Arena and get into Crystal rank to know many people from the top scoreboard. Form a party with 5 people from there and training/play together in Arena before go to Hellgate or else you wasting alot of millions silvers.

what do you think about rootbound nerf? still nice or should be changed?

I would say the new patch is a bit hard for rootbound to win the match as the new meta currently uses (2 lightcallers in the PT) / (1 lightcaller and 1 fire staff meta) but overall rootbound is still recommended to use if goes by proper comms in the team by kiting and stabilise properly like 1 sync as team. Rootbound needs to work more closely with the Blight healer especially when it comes to using Graveguard helm and use well in Q/W form. I hope it helps you out! :)
