My ducks are broken, they only lay in the winter ( Florida’s winter), when march rolls around, they dry up like the desert.

@@TheEmpanadaFoodTrailer I tried that the first year, it didn’t work. We have an artesian well, the water ice cold no matter the time day. I put a cow filler pump on their pool to circulate the water, it didn’t matter, still no eggs. This is yr 4 of rotating our ducks and they’re all the same. Never any eggs in the summer.

I love my ducks! Found one farm duck egg and put it in an incubator. Had to get three ducklings from craigslist so my original would have buddies. They live in our chicken run with our 5 chickens!!

Actually rabbit poo is the best fertilizer. You can use it fresh or rotted and it won’t burn your plants. My neighbor ran a truck farm and raised rabbits just for the poo. He also sold a few rabbits, he usually had about 200 in cages.

False. Acidity is removed from poop as part of the digestion process. Over fertilizing/too much nitrogen causes plants to "burn." Bacteria in fresh poop can also infect plants if you apply poop to the leaves of the plant 😅 it must be in the dirt, near but not on the plant.

Be careful, many people are spraying pastures with Grazon to kill weeds. Herbicides will carry over in manure and kill or at the very least stunt plant in your garden for several years. Took 3 years to get my garden clear of this herbicide. Wheat straw can also have the same problem.

Gotta have an extra tasty treat that is designated for nail clip time. I can't afford bully sticks all the time, so often that's the treat to entice my dogs to chill out and know something good is coming from the situation. Lick mats are good too if your dog isn't resource guarding.
