I should of seen this when i first started years ago. Nevertheless, i blew my dd13. And a brand new long block from freightliner cost me 36k. What a pain. I wish i heard “big roll offs, big repairs” 😂 but its all part of the game.

yea definitely...a chain with small pipe to insert into the front roller hole or even a small chain with angel iron that goes in front of the roller. Another safety measure we take is adding rubber wheel chocks from harbor freight (buy when on sale $4.99) the either the front or back rollers depending on the slope. we had a dumpster roll down the driveway and smack a Toyota Tacoma.

Setting your business up for great success in 2025! Hope to meet you someday at one of the equipment expos, I lived in California about 30yrs, moved to Oklahoma in 2007. Been slingin dumpsters with a trailer for 3yrs now, still a one man show with 31 dumpsters, a little scared of the cost of the big rigs. Love your channel and work ethic.

Thanks brotha, were definitely planning for a great 2025. but yes we attend a bunch of these expos/ events im sure we'll run into each other soon. I dont blame you for leaving this state... its getting worse by the day. I was in Vian, Ok not long ago and was freaked out by the tornado warnings not sure how you guys deal with that, 31 dumpsters is impressive, i can definitely see you jumping to a truck soon. Just plan ahead for maintenance/ repairs and a ton of tires with sidewall damage.

@HeritageDumpsterSolutions for construction that needs to be 65% recycled. Do you go to transfer station for the recycle, and send the receipt to the customer so he can upload it to the green halo?

@@RobertQuintan 🤣I thought you mean on the video.... for that we dispose of materials at specific location and keep a detailed waste diversion reports that help contractors track and manage their waste recycling allowing them to stay compliant with local / state regulation.

I'm in my second year in business and started to get some construction job but when I send the receipt to customer the website don't want to accept them saying that ineligible so I'm looking for way to do it in a better and professional way Thanks for replying

for these types of jobs I typically price them by the job,. At first I was horrible at calculating loads but after enough trial and error we have a good gauge for loads/ dumpsters needed. ..... in this scenario we finished in under 4 hours and to be honest the client thought it was too far for what we charged. can't fault us for having the right tools for the job.

Is this financed or purchased directly? The reason I ask, is because I just started with 3 bins and a trailer. a little of both, all dumpsters were paid immediately. 1st and 2nd truck financed. 3rd truck bought outright. and now our 4th truck is being financed. as soon as I created my LLC I started working my business credit, the guys at Streamline Financial Services have new business programs.

thanks brotha, so as of right now I have my office manager dealing with the day to day since I still work for the State of Ca and have a pretty hectic schedule. I do however see everything that goes on between 12-4AM 🤣 . I have my own truck being built right now though ....so here in the near future I'll be leaving my employment with the state and focusing 100% on the business. 2024 Peterbilt 548

It’s these landfills- they won’t cover the previous crap and expect other drivers to drive on top of it to dump. We typically see sidewalk punctures or slashes from metal.

We are selling our newer Hooklift truck and 24 dumpsters. The truck is a 2022 Freightliner Hooklift with only 26k miles. 14-16 foot dumpsters sizes are 13, 15 and 20 yarders. We are going to focus on the junk removal side more

That’s good info! Didn’t know this stuff, my transfer station has had a broken, incoming weight screen for months, and where it’s located can’t even see it when your on the scale, only trucks behind you can see which i always though was weird. Same with outgoing weight. I’d have to walk way behind my truck on the scale platform to actually see the weight on the screen. Theres a little screen inside scale house that’s turned towards the weight master though. Have always questioned the legitimacy of it!

@@HeritageDumpsterSolutions I know a guy who has 2 drivers that take turns with 1 truck and he has 55. I would think 1 truck and 1 driver with 30 you would be busy all the time especially if the landfill is slow. I am lucky and usually in and out in 12 min.

Thanks for watching, we've definitely expanded quickly. We have a good marketing plan and feel we've taken advantage of the opportunities that have presented themselves. there's for sure a lot of sleepless nights and growing pains but the outcome has been short of amazing and would change a thing.
