I’m late to the color along as I just got a copy of this book yesterday and was feeling a bit overwhelmed. I Really love watching it come to life as you color. The distress background is a great idea. Thanx for the inspiration. 💜

If you want to blend the colors, go for a Prisma blender. If you have a Hobby Lobby near by you can buy them in a two pack for about $4.00. Just avoid the black lines on cheap books it will "blend" them too. The best blender IMO, I go through dozens of them a year. The Kohinoor blender is awful, right up there with the worst I've ever tried. Also avoid Lyra or Staedtler. Derwent (blender, not burnisher they sell both) isn't bad but Prisma is better. Carandache doesn't really blend but it does leave a smooth finish on top and can brighten colors.. like of like a sealer more than a blender.
