I spent some time looking at the work on Lou Noble's Flickr page. His work is fine. Not exceptional IMO. He seems fairly likeable, but I'm curious why he has such a large following and why he justifies an interview with SmugMug. I have no axe to grind with Noble, I just don't get the adulation.

Thanks for the informative video! Currently, I export LRC images to a separate folder on my PC for eventual uploading to my Smugmug galleries. This LRC procedure allows me to assign specific file names and embed watermarks. Of course, this process creates duplicate files. Once uploaded to Smugmug, I then manually add Titles, Captions and Tags to each newly uploaded image and also assign gallery locations. It's not clear to me how the Smugmug plug-in works to streamline this process so any further insight is much appreciated!

I have another question please, is there a way to minimise the work to upload or share several folders from my computer to smugmuch at once, instead of of doing 1 gallery a the time? this is bevcause I am in the middle of transfering all my albuns, folders, galleries from my old platform where i had already had all my photos and albuns and it is quite painful to do gallery by gallery into smugmug. It takes forever to upload or share each single gallery to my new smugmug welbsite and I need to speed up the process, because I am closing my old website or photo platform I was using before, thank you so very much

I am new to SmugMug and thank you for this useful talk. At the same time, I feel a little lost. People like me store, edit and organize their photos in Lightroom and would like to use SmugMug to share, publish or sell. Yet, it is unclear to me how this could be done easily. I was expecting to be able to replicating the whole Lightroom Collection structure in SmugMug, by synching them. I cannot find a way to do it.

Thanks for ur video. I have done the drag and drop method but for some reason a raw photo that has been changed by a preset arrives in Smugmug in the original form. How can I transfer the picture with the final adjustments?

Allen,could I ask, what are your main settings when going out for a ‘street’ day shooting black and white? As a professional photographer I would think that you go completely manual but for a new starter like myself, would you recommend aperture priority and allow the camera to do the rest? I’d value your recommendation for this as I want to go and do a day in the city using black and white only. Thanks…

My belief is that an image created by AI is art but shouldn't be considered a photograph ...in my opinion.
