Diorama is unbelievable. I thought I hated Silverchair until my wife showed me this album. The entire album and the Dan and Paul's Dissociatives is PERFECT. Young Modern is great, too - but Diorama is a rare beauty. It's a shame I never heard it until long after the band split. Ben's song Darkwater is awesome as well. Wish it was waaaay longer.

Silverchair is my favorite band and Daniel Johns is my favorite Songwriter. I avoided this album for YEARS simply because I found the cover art off-putting. (I broke rule #1: Never judge a book by its cover). But I finally heard the album yesterday, and THIS SONG is now probably one of MY FAVORITE SONGS EVER. It almost feels like it's closely related to Tuna In The Brine, but also nothing like it at all. I can't believe I missed out on this...after all these years! I'm obsessed & have been listening on repeat all day!! 😭💖🔥💖💕🌟🌟🎶🎶 I feel so lucky to be on the same planet where artistic beauty like this exists! 💖🌟🌈

some of the strangest music made in the last few decades by an established legend... drugs and alcohol can do weird things to people... it's no wonder that this band has very little views compared to Silverchair who themselves have very few views compared to todays music icons.

Okay I’m not that much of a pro but I personnally sing and I know singing. The way he moves immaculately between his chest and head-nosey voice at ‘across the night’ is insane. No one quite like this. Also works here 5:02

My favourite rendition of this song. I cant fault it. Daniels range and the harmonies by(sorry i don’t know his name,Chris?) Brilliant to this day.

All of Daniels work is different. Every project brings different sounds, imagery, and vocals. That’s how you know an artist is talented. If your work doesn’t show any diversity in your career, you failed in a way. If you don’t take any chances, or make mistakes, how can you grow? I admire his bravery despite the backlash. He found success so early in his career and still managed to grow and not just take the safe route.

This song really sounds like it could be an unused B-side from the Diorama album from Silverchair. It has a "Tuna in the Brine" feel to it, and it was around the time Daniel Johns was dealing with his arthritis.
