This sermon is so spot on. We are the Israelites and our King does it all for us! THere's a greek idiom that goes The gods help those who help themselves" and insome circles it has been adapted to "God helps those who help themselves" BUT the Gospel Truth is that Elohim does for us what we an not do for ourselves and this sermon smacks that old adapted greek idiom right on the schnoz and knocks it out! Though he never mentions that greek idiom, he def refutes it's misleading teaching.

Clearly if this woman was guilty of adultery and the man she was guilty of committing adultery with was to be stoned and Yeshua was writing in the dirt THEN he was likely writing the days and time that each of those men had slept with her. How else to explain it?

I have been told that Pontious Pilate paid for his post and he made his money off of his rule by taxes and fines? To rule over an area he had to pay a lump sum upfront and then he either made his money back or not throuhout his rule.

I love this sermon about the names of Yashua. right up to the part where he brings out that fable and calls it the christmas story.

But Elen White said we could use this time of year to teach people about the story of Christ's birth. Yah you sure can do that and do so without celebrating this catholic abomination.... Much like i did just below. His servant you are whom you choose to obey.
@lizziswane4632 Жыл бұрын
Christmas is not about that story. Christ Mass is the re-crucifying of Yeshua on the cross all over again, as all mass are. It is a catholic abomination to disguise satan as Christ. Christmas is a pagan holiday masquerading as a christian holiday.

The celebration of God's presence with His people. God loves to tabernacle with His people. If only there was a celebration of God tabernacling with His people. Some such celebration or feast that would exist as a type that Yeshua would come to fulfill as the anti-type, much like the passover is a type and Yeshua dying on the cross would be the anti-type fulfillment. Maybe something like a feast of tabernacles? Oh if only such a thing existed, surely the Messiah would be born then???!!!

This is a huge problem across Christianity. Adventist should be more open to women in leadership and ministry. I have no problem with women prophets. I have no problem with women preaching. I have no problem with women evangelist. There is an Adventist woman pastor in Korea who preached at my church a few times. Adventist men should be diligent, manage his home properly, and love their wives properly as Christ loves the church. Adventist women should be diligent and love their husband's properly. There is a time to speak and a time to be quiet. My biggest problem is linguistically. Pastor is a male term to me.

The seven things you believe the church is "for" is exactly what I want to be for. For those who need a summary. Here are the 7 " for's". 1. Learning and growing. 2. Oneness, 3. Mentorship. 4. Bridge building (the gap between us really isn't that far... Where do we agree?). 5. Generosity (be rich in good deeds...and share out of gratitude for the abundance in God's world). 6. Justice (do away with the yoke of oppression). 7. Reimaging (we are all wonderfully made in the image of God...our value is inherent..and we need to restore human dignity). 😍🥰

I have always Loved the God of Both Testaments. I raised my children telling them there is More Mercy and Grace in the Old Testament than the New. 😉 Another question I always ask when reading any part of the Bible is what is the relationship that God, The Father, wants to have with me? Thank you 🙏 Pastor Jordan for so wonderfully showing that God is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow. 🙏
